I've lived in Phoenix for almost 2 years and this is the best Mexican food I've ever had

Definitely do yourself a favor and try out this place. I had never been before and this was my first time. pulling up, you know you are in a neighborhood with authentic flavors. Parking is a bit tight but there is tons of places to park along the side street if the lot is full. As soon as I walked in it felt like Mexico. A guy was playing guitar going from table to table and an older man was selling bread. I had caldo de birria de chivo and it did not disappoint! It was so flavorful and was served with home-made tortillas and the portion for the small bowl was very well priced and filled me up perfectly. I had an horchata with it that was nice and fresh. The service was great (Spanish) and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious authentic food in a comfortable setting, you will thank yourself that you went!

Me and my boyfriend went out to eat here yesterday and he had left his wallet and they tried to say it’s not there and supposedly their cameras don’t work inside the restaurant and when I had to call the lady hung up on me and I called back and she said she don’t speak English. I went over there and she was speaking perfect English to me and then she started calling a other bunch of people Just stalling send that she doesn’t have the wallet and none of the cameras work in the restaurant which I highly don’t believe.

This place was recommended by a friend. Ordered agua chiles. It was very fresh you could taste the lime and the souse was very tasty. Beria tacos were big didn’t have cheese and fried in the sauce like I expected but it was good. Also order mackerel quesadilla. I thought it would actually be a piece of fish but it was more like a spread. I recommend the jazz tea. The place was a bit pricey. Atmosphere felt like a little piece of Mexico.
INSANELY AUTHENTIC!! I was just in Mexico and it literally felt like I was back in Mexico here at this establishment I had barria Tacos and a Quesadilla.. 10/10 will be coming back even though I dont understand a lick of Spanish. Fabiola is an amazing waitress.

Food is good IF you go in early. (Fresher taste) we tried afternoon and the same items did not taste as well. Sea food kind of disappointed my party, but the "asiento" and "puerco" tacos were good.
