The restaurant was remarkable… like the pork belly was really good. The feeling was like rubber, which means it was really good. There was also side dish too. For example, there was fish cake and pickle. I really liked the mushroom because, it was sweet and has the name of the restaurant.

Sizzle BBQ was my favorite Korean restaurant in Arizona. The food is Kangnam level - very good, clean, and satisfying. However, I visited Sizzle in Desert Ridge today and was shocked by the following: 1. portion size for the marinated beef was reduced by 1/3 from a month ago when I visited; 2. portion size for the kalbi-tang or short rib soup also was reduced by 30%; 3. the portion size of the spicy noodle was reduced by 50% and the noodle changed from somen to udong noodle which was not satisfying. I understand inflation is affecting all of us. But to pay $65 for one order of marinated kalbi (compared to $45 in 2021), $18 for kalbi-tang (compared to $15 last year), and $10 for spicy noodle (not sure what the price was) and pay this same price with portions reduced by 30%-50% is too much. I think Sizzle BBQ is doing too well. The food is still good, but I will not go there again. I am sure the owner will make lots of money.

First time experiencing Korean BBQ. I'm a fan, especially after the high-quality food and service had here. Loved the bulgogi wrapped in lettuce with just a dallop of bean paste and chili sauce. The short ribs were divine dipped in coarse salt. I don't know what it's called, but the bean sprout/sesame oil condiment was incredible. 10/10 recommend for a fun and yummy dinner.

Food is good but sorry you have to educate the personnel. Also the carriage with dirty dishes and cleaning cloths was staying right on a side of our table and it smells. I asked to move it away from the table, the server moved it 1 meter away but in a minute was moved back. I guessed it was convenient place for servers. It is disgusting. Some pieces were burned some undercooked. No food experience was explained ahead and the served was indifferent:(

Food was pretty decent but it was our server that ruined the vibe. My girlfriend and I came here on 3/3 knowing we wanted korean bbq. Ended up choosing this place and from the start service was slow. Our waitress ignored us, it took 25 minutes for my girlfriend to get a hot tea, and forgot about the sugar she asked for. Meanwhile our server was joking and having a good time with her other tables. (She didn't even bother to tell us the sides and everything that came with our meal, she just threw it down and walked away but decided to tell her other tables about the sides.) Honestly wouldn't have been so bad if we weren't the only brown skin colored people. For 130 dollars we figured this would be an experience for us. It felt like just a chore for our server to come and cook for us. Kept cutting the meat and it kept landing off the grill on the table. Not cooked with love, and you could taste the bitterness lol. Would not recommend and definitely not coming back here again. Server was kyza or whatever.

Our experience was horrible here! When we went in to place our table for 5 the guy in the front said it would be a 40-50 minute wait which was fine because we were going to just shop. Keep in mind we went in at 5:50pm to place the reservation! It was now almost 7 so we go in to ask when our table would be ready all the guy responded was in 10 minutes. 10 minutes go by we ask again and their response was “someone changed their reservation from 8 people to 10 last minute” which meant they gave them an extra table and made us wait even longer. So in total they made us wait an hour and thirty minutes and gave someone else a table that we already put our names down for! So disappointed because the food is good but putting another party before us when we were already promised one in 10 minutes is so beyond disappointing and disrespectful. If you plan on going here just be disappointed when they decide to give another party your spot!

Probably one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Our server didn’t greet us for over 10 min or explain the menu at all. It was our first time at Korean bbq for Valentine’s day. She burnt our last course so she could talk to friends and we ultimately had to flag someone else to help us clear our things and get our check. It was really disappointing and I’m not sure I would risk receiving service like that again.
