I didn't like this place. They don't speak Ukrainian, they brought deruny with jam, red borscht without meat, pelmeni were very tasty. Service like in America - none.

Went w my family Saturday to celebrate my birthday and our Ukrainian roots. Everything we ordered ( pierogies, schnitzel, borscht, sausage, cabbage)was delicious but the Hunters Stew was the hit! 😋 It's our new favorite.

I'm vegetarian, inching my way towards vegan; my husband is a carnivore. While the menu doesn't have a wide variety for me, I love the potato salad sauerkraut pierogis (although the pasta part of the pierogi isn't melt-in-your-mouth light like in Eastern Europe). My husband would likely eat here every day if he could: he's always happy with the various sausage selection he gets.
My sole complaint is that we do exclusively take-out orders, and the majority of these have at least one incorrect item that necessitates a return trip. These aren't always the kind of things you can check in the bag (for example, a cheese pierogi looks like a sauerkraut pierogi at a quick glance).
Despite these mistakes, we still return (especially since they added the frozen pierogi option: some for now, some for later). The food really is good.

So happy to have Ukrainian representation in AZ and cuisine because it is absolutely delicious. I grew up on Russian and Ukrainian food and while there are a bunch of options back in LA, after moving to Phoenix I missed it so much. Will absolutely be coming back and so glad they’re expanding 🥰🙂↕️🫶 Man who took our order was super nice too.

Soup and Sausage is a community favorite. It serves food from the Ukraine villages. Food is homemade not processed one of the best things Iu enjoy about the restaurant. Service is always friendly. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet kind of an old time restaurant feel.

Really authentic eastern European food, everything was good, but the Hunters Stew stole the show for me.

The food is DELICIOUS and the staff is very friendly.
Took my mom here for a celebratory lunch today. Had Potato pancakes, pierogi, and cabbage rolls. Absolutely wonderful. The borscht was divine. The service was excellent. It's all made fresh so expect a bit of a wait. Well worth it.
