Went to Spinato‘s for the first time because they have a history with Aurelio‘s from Chicago. There was a similarity in taste to the Aurelio‘s pizza. But there were some drawbacks. I noticed right away that the crust was spongy. This is a telltale sign that they use a conveyor belt oven rather than a standard pizza oven. I confirmed with the waiter that they use an impingement oven rather than a standard deck style oven. This results in a totally different kind of crust similar to Pizza Hut. So it is not authentic Chicago style Pizza. But it was reasonably tasty. The real plus was the service. Our waiter was great and provided a lot of background information. pricing was also very reasonable.
Food was great. Don't expect a long menu like the other restaurants. Pizza some pasta and a few salads. Seeverice was exceptional.
Totally burned our take-out pizza! Can’t believe they would actually box-up a pizza with burned crust around the entire circumference, and after making us wait way beyond the promised time. BEWARE! Called the store when we opened the lid and was told that no manager was on-premises to deal with it (!) They told me to text photos to another number so they could show the missing manager, which I did. Then… nothing! No reply to my text. No call back. No refund. So, no lunch for me. Later in the day, credit card company confirmed they charged me, but no refund was issued. So, I called again and tracked down the manager who said she never actually saw the photos (!) She did give me the obligatory apology now, but said a refund would take up to five days! Such a waste of time. Totally disappointed. So here are photos for the manager to see.

We did a take out Greek salad pizza. I always have meat with minimal veggies and never onions. I really hate onions on pizza. This thing was all veggies with no meat. I tried the one with half marinara and half olive oil. It was freaking amazing! Everything I would normally turn my nose up but I couldn't stop eating. The olive oil portion better by far but we enjoyed the whole thing
Now the staff were fun, they were quirky and it made it a good experience.

Spaghetti calzone is The Best Ever my only problem with this business is they’re not open longer hours. I never seem to make it on time.

I would call it average pizza. With as much as things cost these days I would consider the price fair for what you get. Service was good and restaurant atmosphere is casual and comfortable.

We got 2 of the Calzone's (beef steak and mama's) and neither one disappointed. We also got the cremini mushrooms for the appetizer and they were just want I needed! My husband got the DaVinci sandwich and inhaled it like it was air never to be seen tasted by any of us. Our oldest son got a personal pizza with the basil pesto and different cheeses. I was ready to fight him for a slice but he was happy to trade a slice for some of my calzone.

My favorite pizza joint in the valley continues to jack up their prices and has now lost a weekly customer.

Sauce is a little to sweet, other than that the pizza is amazing.
