UNFORTUNATELY THIS PLACE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. I AM GIVING IT THE FINAL 5 STAR REVIEW BECAUSE THE FOOD AND HOSPITALITY WAS AWESOME WHILE IT WAS AROUND. I'LL MISS YOU SPITZ. ??

I was looking forward to eating here. I miss Spitz from the Los Angeles area. Google states they were open currently and they are not. Sigh.

I absolutely love this place! I discovered Spitz on a trip to Utah and fell in love with it. The food is so good and isn't unreasonably priced. I highly recommend the street fries.
Downside is sometimes this location smells strange and the soda fountain seems to be broken often.

1:20 on a Saturday CLOSED… listed as open yet the doors are locked and lights off. All this after following Google Maps to the pinned location and it’s nowhere near the actual restaurant. Desert Ridge is a nightmare, don’t waste your time.
First time trying and it was delicious! The staff was awesome and gave me recommendations based on my preference. Would definitely come again! :)

I have now eaten at this place three times. The explosion of flavors is just magnificent. The crispy bread "sticks" that you get on top of the bowls are incredible. The lemon herb tahini dressing is better than the balsamic in my opinion, in regards to all of the flavors that are melting together. Overall out of this world food. It will shock you - yes, in a good way.

The building was hot. I could not eat my food there. The food was not worth it. The Sweet potatoes were soggy. The gyro had hummus and it added less flavor. The margarita was too sour and was like drinking a slushy.

Excellent!
If you like gyros then this is the place. Their special sauce is where it’s at. Great vibe with soulful music. Skip the adjacent chain restaurants and get over here for a unique food experience.

Doner and Greek salads are exceptional. Unfortunately, can't order pickup by phone. Worse when you can't do it online because you want the movie ticket discount. Strange days when you can't give someone money in the ways we used to.

An American take on a German version of a Turkish dish that’s been lost in translation.
Ordered a Berliner wrap, a Döner bowl, and a side of sweet potato fries. Asked for no tomato on the wrap. The fryer was broken so we were talked into a Döner salad instead with a side of sweet potato fries that would be thrown in to make up the cost, and for the inconvenience. We then had to repeat the order back to the guy, as he had already forgotten our order.
The food came but without an order of fries. We had to explain to the guy who we ordered from what we ordered and how he talked us into the salad with fries, as he was certain there was just the single order. And no garlic aioli for the fries. I guess they are out. The soda machine was also broken.
I think the food quality is satisfactory. My spouse ended up getting tomatoes in his wrap despite asking for no tomatoes. The paper they use on the wraps is really hard to separate and you end up eating the paper or risk ripping off chunks of the wrap.
My salad is plentiful. Ample amounts of feta. A tad skimpy on the meat. The lavash adds a nice contrast in texture but I prefer it fresh instead of tough like a crouton.
Lastly, and I know this isn’t the fault of the restaurant, both Google maps and iPhone maps took us to the wrong location. We had a lot of difficulty locating the restaurant and have since requested the edit on Maps.

This has become a go-to spot for my wife & I both for dinners or for a quick day-date when the kids are at school. Great variety of menu items with delicious spin on Mediterranean dishes. The day staff recognizes us as we walk in, and the afternoon staff has also been great for my to-go orders. This one is solidly in our rotation.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have both high & low tables for seating, along with the outdoor seating area.
