This restaurant is out of business and has been for a month. Your system took our reservation and sent us a confirmation and we arrived to find it shut down. You need to take this restaurant off your site
We drove 45 minutes out during rush hour for a 4:30pm reservation at OAK on Camelback only to discover the place was permanently closed. Why did they allow me to make a reservation and why did they also send a confirmation email? And why are they now asking me to review it? Please let people know the status so the inconvenience doesn't happen to other good souls just wanting to have a nice dinner out.
Open table allowed me to make a reservation, and still does, even though the restaurant is permanently closed. There is no sign on the door or any other form of information to let customers know this. There is some comments online that the restaurant is closed for renovations, yet there is absolutely no evidence of any construction work started or even planed so I am pretty sure this restaurant is permanently closed. RIP Oak.
Made reservations, got a sitter, drove in, and restaurant was closed. No sign on the door, no phone service, nothing. Crap service both from the restaurant and reservation service.
We made the reservation a week in advance and then drove all the way from the west valley only to find out that the restaurant was closed for remodeling. We met other patrons who also made reservations and were upset that the restaurant didn't tell us they were closed. We ended up at the Yard on 7th street and had a great brunch. It will be some time before we try the Oak again after the way we were treated. It's a shame because we loved the oak before and have filled them since they were the St Francis.
We made a reservation for brunch on 9/10/23 to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were so disappointed to arrive on time and see a note on the door that said they were closed for remodeling. Why wouldn't the owner or manager look to see ahead of time if there were reservations made for the weekend and alert us? It's not easy to find a reservation on a Sunday/weekend for brunch for a large party. There were many other patrons standing in the parking lot with the same issue when we arrived. We had to scramble to find another restaurant! This was a huge hassle and disappointment. I did not find this professional or courteous.
After making reservations we arrived to find a torn hand-written note saying they were closed “for renovations “ and I should follow them on Social Media. If they can't be bothered to stop taking reservations and ruining evening plans, I won't bother going back. Ever.
The reason I sent this poor review is because we arrived on time for our reservation and the restaurant was closed, there was a sign on the door that said closed for remodeling. We made the reservation the prior day and drove cross town in rush hour. Was not pleased that we were able to make the reservation on OpenTable within 24 hours and information was not current.
Here's an idea, maybe let's put a pause on reservations to your restaurant when it's not even open. Perhaps then you won't have people confused when they show up and everything is closed down. Just a thought
Happy hour was amazing! Quality, artisan crafted food and beverage. Best fish taco I have ever had! Really looking forward to going back

OpenTable set up the reservation but when I showed up at Oak, it was closed. There was a handwritten sign that they had a maintanance problem. Why didn't they cancel all pending reservations? Maintaining customers informed is not a priority for Oak.
The food l ate was really good. Had a burger & fries. However the service was very poor. Waited almost 25 minutes for my meal. I never heard a place where they ran out of ketchup ??! The place has a nice vibe but maybe more customer friendly training with waiters sorry to say. Food should be out a lot quicker.
Several brunch menu items were not available and we went early, including the ones we were considering. Staff was not friendly. The place is amazing outside but looked cheap and worn inside. Prices were high, which is fine... if the ambience, service and menu match. We ended up leaving without ordering. This was the second time I tried this restaurant; second bad experience. The first time in April 2023 we showed up right when they opened on a Sunday and were told we could not be seated and needed a reservation. The place was empty. Literally empty. I was there with my parents. We would have been in and out, not hanging for hours. Again, it was totally empty. Go elsewhere.
We had a great dining experience and this was the first time visiting OAK. We tried a couple of the custom cocktails (Lost in the Woods) which were excellent. We had an old fashioned later I the evening and upgraded to Angels Envy which they charged an additional $10 for each drink! $23 old fashioned? I mean, it was tasty, but that's exorbitant. Food was very good. We shared meatballs as an appetizer and it was delicious. For dinner we shared a Thai salad with salmon and the dip sandwich. Both were very good. The sandwich could have used a little more sauce. Dessert - we shared the bread pudding which was enjoyed by a party of 4. Service was very good - could have been a little faster but not too bad for a Saturday night. Would definitely go back!!
This was one of our favorite places but this last visit was very disappointing. The service was poor. We ordered all our normal favorites, goat cheese, meatballs, scallops and a hamburger. The quality went down on all of them. It's too bad because this was a great restaurant.
