I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by my recent experience at this Starbucks location. I arrived as I often do, intending to place an order inside the café. However, the barista refused me entry, stating that the store wouldn’t open for another 30 minutes. This was problematic, as I rely on my job’s commuter program and needed to catch my bus to work. I politely asked if I could place a mobile order or use the drive-thru on foot—both of which were declined.

A few minutes later, I noticed a white man inside the café, waiting for his order. The same barista had let him in, despite claiming that the store was not yet open. There is no doubt in my mind that I was unfairly stereotyped and denied service due to assumptions about my appearance. I was dressed in business casual attire, yet I was still treated as though I were part of the local homeless population—simply because of my hairstyle and the fact that I was carrying my laptop bag.

To make matters worse, I am three months pregnant and had not eaten breakfast yet. Being denied service not only left me hungry but also added unnecessary stress to my morning. I am an educated Black woman and a paying customer who deserved the same respect and service as anyone else. To be treated this way—especially by another woman of color—is unacceptable and disheartening.

No one should experience discrimination, especially in a company that claims to value inclusivity and diversity. Starbucks needs to do better.

Wish I can publish with no stars. Customer service is terrible!!!! I was wanting just a cup of water and I was willing to pay for it and was denied one. Wow!!!!!! I really hope it has nothing to de with me being Latina!!! So sad the times we are living now!!!! I will definitely reach out to cooperate!!! It's a law you can't deny water. Especially if i was willing to pay.

This has to be the slowest starbucks we have been to. We ordered two refreshers and watched as they sat on the counter while we watched as the made four other drinks.

Went in to grab my wife a coffee. When I was done with my order, the girl taking my order asked how I was going to tip. Due to the remark, I didn’t feel like leaving a tip. The customer service was pretty mundane anyway. I proceeded to wait over 25 minutes for my one coffee. When I asked about the drink, the drive through attendant stated that they were behind. I’d understand that, but people that ordered after me were getting their drinks before me. I asked again and she asked what my order was because she didn’t even have my order. Got the drink and it was just over half full. I think my experience was intentional due to the lack of tip. Some advice, if you make an hourly wage and expect a tip, you have to make an effort to earn one. You’re not owed a tip for simply being there.

Trying to understand why the large hot coffee can fit in a normal size coffee cup at my house???
I definitely feel like I was ripped off for the price an amount of coffee I was given. HOWEVER Jessica made the difference and showed initiative an I will be back because of the service she provided!

I have arrived at this location to pick up a mobile order to many times count only, to find the lobby closed. They claim they are short staffed. This is not a busy location so it is a really poor excuse.

They are understaffed so there’s no way to go into this Starbucks…only drive-through. When you come up to the store main entrance doesn’t work and there’s a sign to use side entrance, when you use side entrance they say to go to drive-through so it’s a pity this Starbucks isn’t really open.

The last time I went here. They locked the front door because they were shorthanded. However they should not have done that for people who were picking up only. They could have placed a note on the door.
