It’s been quite awhile since I experienced friendly/welcoming service level almost comparable to pre-covid times. It was my first time at this location and the staff were approachable and personable, the way Starbucks used to be. 👏 What was a put-off was there were homeless people camping out behind the wall at the business to the east of Starbucks. It felt unsafe, even early in the morning, having to park right next to this camp. A couple of them would walk in and out the Starbucks taking up tables and electrical outlets that paying customers would like to utilize.

Barista overpacked beans for espresso then wondered why it was coming out slowly. Made my drink hot at first when it said iced then just reused the old beans to make the correct drink. Awful service, clearly some training needs to take place for the night crew. Terrible, just garbage in garbage out over there.

Super friendly staff. Clean tables. Everyone was upbeat.
It has gotten progressively worse here. Homeless and drugged out people asking for water and using needles in the bathroom. Yep there’s a sharps container in the bathroom. They’ve removed half the chairs outside to prevent homeless loitering. Grow a spine and run a respectable business where kids and babies can be safe. I’ll be at Black Rifle Coffee. They don’t allow that kind of stuff at their place.

This is the dirtiest Starbucks I’ve seen in Arizona. Inside was full so I went outside. The tables were sticky and dirty. Inside had trash all over the floor. I waited 20 minutes for an iced coffee which wasn’t a huge deal but it taste awful. Very burnt tasting. I order 2 coffees and they were both bad. I used the restroom before I left and I was appalled. The sinks were black like they had never been cleaned. The toilet was disgusting. There was hair everywhere on the sink, the toilet, the floor. The floors were black and sticky. I’ve never seen a Starbucks bathroom like that. I was shocked. They seem to be understaffed. One person was making food and one was making drinks. Probably why the drive thru was wrapped around the building. There are so many locations around this one that I would just choose another and avoid this location at all costs.

My son ordered his drink with no ice. This is how they gave him his matcha. He didn't take one sip yet. I don't know if this is custom now, but every other starbucks we have been to doesn't operate this way. I don't think that's fair. Please elaborate. But I will say my drink was ? great.
