Since background music contributes to atmosphere, I would give this location a zero if I could. It's bad enough to have to listen to the same 'computer-based-sequencer-looped-drum machine-driven' crap you get in most coffee shops, the staff at this store subjects it's customers to Mexican and Latino music. I listened to this for 2 hours yesterday. When I asked if anything could be done about the music they said it is out of their control. I knew he was lying because the numerous times I've been there before, they had the same music on, not to satisfy the patrons but to satisfy the all Mexican staff; this was what they wanted to work to. So if this is the closest location to get your coffee, get it to go (this explains why there's hardly anyone in the store when I get there). It's more like a Cantina atmosphere than a coffee shop; designed to create atmosphere for the employees than the customers.

This particular Starbucks has the absolute worse communication skills and hearing of most stores over the entire metro Phoenix Area. The service is super slow, even the lady taking the order can’t find whip cream on the screen. Step it up Starnes

The gal that took our order didn't listen to what I had ordered. I got the wrong drink and my husband ordered his with no whipped cream. His came out first and it had whipped cream on it. My drink was completely the wrong drink, I ordered a cream based chai frappuccino with 2 extra pumps of chai, no whipped cream and 2% milk with cinnamon dolce sprinkles on top. What i got was a cinnamon dolce frappuccino with 2 pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup and 2% milk. We had already left before I had tasted it. We ended up going to a different Starbucks on the way home and they made it correctly and didn't charge me for it. They were amazing!
really nice group of people here. i lost my wedding ring outside the store and they found it and kept it safe for me!

So I came in here with my mother and she wanted to try a customized drink, the drink she wanted wasn’t very complex it was simply a vanilla bean frappe with strawberry puree and chocolate sauce around the cup, and the girl at the register denied my mom of ordering that drink because they are behind on orders. She was very rude and made it clear they couldn’t make a drink because they are busy.
