I just got home with my latte only to notice that my grande latte was only half full! Never going to this location again, I feel scammed for paying for a grande but really only getting a small.

Can't redeem points here. Food while hot didn't taste as good as expected. Drinks were as expected though.

I came into this location today and was rudely met by Haley, the store manager. I asked for a cup of water for my daughter — in 114-degree Phoenix heat — I was denied.
That’s not just disappointing, it’s dangerous. It’s not just about customer service — it’s about basic human decency, especially in extreme heat where dehydration can quickly become a medical emergency.

I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years and have spent thousands of dollars here over the last few years, so being treated like that — especially when I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable — was shocking.

I need to know: is it store policy to deny someone water in these conditions? And if it is, is there a fast and hard call to NEVER make exceptions? And if it’s not, then I’d like to know how that situation is going to be addressed — for me, and for anyone else who might find themselves in that position.

I really hope starbucks takes this seriously. I don’t want to stop supporting a company I’ve been loyal to, but this experience left me with serious concerns.

Not to mention, when we drove up to the window, where you could clearly see my two year olds red face and hear her sweet voice asking for a water, we were ignored for over two minutes at the window and was given the wrong number to their area manager!

So shocking, truly.

Worst Starbucks in the PV/Scottsdale area. Avoid if you can.
Every little request they make you feel like you asked for the moon and the stars. I’ve been here a few times and have never had a good experience.
Not sure what is different with management and training at this location, but they definitely missed some chapters around customer service.

I had a very bad experience. I ordered through the drive thru 06/27/25 at 8:50PM and when i was handed the drink I said thank you and the lady just looked at me without saying a word. She was very rude.

Wow after reading the reviews I am not surprised one bit with how I was treated today by Yamel. I haven’t contacted the store manager yet, but that’s my next step. I came to visit my boyfriend for a few days from Texas and today, before hitting the road back home I decided to stop at this particular Starbucks because it was right across Wal Mart. Well HUGE MISTAKE. I have never ever been treated so poorly by an employee. I had been driving for quite some time and needed the bathroom desperately before picking up my mobile order. I approached the cashier and saw two ladies chitchatting. I had been standing there I acknowledged and frankly I couldn’t wait too long, so I interrupted and said hi good morning can I please have your bathroom code. Yamel halfway turned super unfriendly with her mean mug and said give me a minute and continued to talk to her coworker. I said I’m sorry I can’t wait I just need the code and she responded with I’m in the middle of something and I said that’s fine just give me the code, the code being 4 numbers would have taken less effort than her being rude and saying everything else she had said. She gave me the code finally and I rushed to the restroom. Honestly at that point I was going to pick up my drink and leave but to no surprise my drink wasn’t made correctly. It had more foam than coffee and it didn’t have the caramel drizzle. I went back to the cashiers and she looked at me and said yes sarcastically. I said I want your mangers name and I want you to remake my drink correctly. She said what’s wrong with it. I showed her and she told the guy to remake it. When she she returned with the managers card she turned away and said byeeeee sarcastically. I said what did you say and she said I said bye. I was like ok what is actually your problem and she said you were so impatient you couldn’t wait. I said no I couldn’t I told you I needed the restroom. Well to make this shorter in the middle of arguing with me she told me I had to leave and the she would refund me. I said sure refund me then told the guy to not make my drink. I said wait a minute I still want my drink and yelling still she said you can’t have both your drink and a refund! I said I never asked for a refund you offered it! At this point I said I’m gonna stop arguing with you since we were both yelling in front of other guest. I took my drink told the guy thank you and he didn’t even respond and I left. I am so disgusted seeing how she feels so entitled to be rude and I’m disappointed that this seems to be a huge issue at this store and it’s probably not addressed therefore they continue to behave this way. I was not rude I was not impatient and I did not deserve to be spoken to the way Yamel felt she could. I’ll see how this is handled with the store manger but I’ll take it further up if I need to.

If staff just look at you and don’t say anything knowing you are waiting for them to acknowledge you. Poor CS

I got my cup from drive-thru and later found this hand written “GAY!” On my cup. Management if you are reading this, please know this is not acceptable and I’ll write to corporate too.

You need to train your employees not only able customer service but also just how to be a respective human being.

The young lady working the drive-thru at the time was very unfriendly. The drinks were good. This is probably the first time I haven't tipped due to her unkind uncaring attitude.

Went there with my wife (her app, I used to have one but I cancelled years ago after too many annoying emails from Starbucks) and ordered one Venti Latte and one Grande Latte in "for here" cups. She got one, dropped it off for me and went to pick up the other. She was engaged in a lengthy conversation with the male barista before joining me with the second cup. She was laughing because the Venti mug (with a big V on the top of the handle) looked about 1" short while the Grande (with a big G on the top of the handle) looked about the right level of fill. They looked about the same volume, but in different size cups. The stupid barista argued that the Grande mug was actually the Venti order and that the shorted Venti mug was actually the Grande and thus short about 1". My wife told him he could top off the Venti and everything would be fine. He said he would have to charge extra for the added amount of coffee. This for a Venti we had already paid for but was 1" short! In his defence I assume he didn't notice the different sized mugs, or the letters identifying them. Maybe he'd never done "for here" mugs before, or maybe he'd never learned to spell. Whatever, he argued while the manager listened. After my wife came back to our table the manager apologized and dropped off a $4 gift card saying that there is no way you can put 20oz of coffee into a 16oz mug. The barista went to their back room. After enjoying our coffees with a laugh we went home. I've never had a Starbucks employee argue with a customer in over 10 yrs of drinking their brew.

I decided to start a chat on my wife's behalf (and on her account) with an online agent. My wife couldn't be bothered. I made the mistake of giving them my name and email instead of the account holder, my wife's. After a bit of to and fro, but before even getting to the actual experience, the online agent said Starbucks policy was, in case of dual identities on one account, to have the account holder (my wife) talk to an agent on the phone. For some reason this was the only way forward. The agent gave me a phone number and a case number then asked me if there was anything else they could help me with. I thanked the agent for wasting 15 minutes of my life.

My wife phoned the help number, was put on hold, and gave up after 10 minutes of waiting.

Though our experience at our home Starbucks (Canada) is exceptional our experience here in Scottsdale (in multiple locations) has been disappointing. We've started going to Press Coffee.

I really did not want to write this review however I have tried to come to this location three times and all three times I have gotten awful customer service. The employees simply look like and act like they hate their life and job, not one person in there is happy. I’ve never been greeted when I have walked in and on top of that I will stand at the pick up for about 5 to 8 minutes before I actually have to ask for service or help which then I will get an attitude from whoever does help me and not just a small attitude but they literally act annoyed or mad that I’m asking for my drink. they are just so extremely rude. It really makes the whole visit terrible and every single time I leave I’m upset and I tell myself I’m not going to come to this location again. The first time I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a little busy in there, but I don’t think that’s the case. I also DoorDash so sometimes I have to go there to pick up DoorDash orders and it is the same thing I’m never greeted and the employees are so so so rude. I can’t express enough how miserable they all look in there. there is no joy at all when you walk into the Starbucks as you fill in others. Usually, the employees are very friendly and welcoming. I’m always greeted when I walk into a Starbucks however, this location I’m not sure why but they just really really need to work on their attitudes and I don’t know if the manager needs to have a full meeting and retrain everybody, but I have never in my life went to a restaurant repeatedly and every single time had the same rude nasty service!!!
