From walking in to walking out it was 10/10. Everything including the service, staff, and food were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and considerate. They helped to celebrate my graduation in the best way and I couldn't say anything bad about this place. It was all great and I highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

The service was excellent. We had a party of nine, and no one lacked for attention. Zach was super courteous, very knowledgeable of the menu, and had excellent suggestions that were not simply “upselling,” but instead ensured that we had sufficient “family-style” sides that paired well with our selections. When it came time to serve the sides, our waiter was augmented by staff who took care to see that everyone got their choices and everyone was ready to dine at the same time. No one had to wait for their choices. The dinner was memorable; the food was excellent, and more than one or our dinner party commented that it was one of the finest meals they had experienced for some time.

Unfortunately our cuts of filet mignon were by far the worst we had ever seen in a high end steakhouse. My husband and I eat out at top steakhouses in Phoenix often. He cooks better filets on our grill. We were with business associates or I would have complained and sent the steaks back. The sides were fine. The bread was ok. No reason for us to go back. I brought the steaks home for our dogs and was shocked to see how much gristle was in one of them that I cut up. Our colleagues said their seafood dishes were good. Also the beignets were dry and overcooked for the dessert.

From walking in the door throughout the entire meal, dinner was an unforgettable experience! Service, food, ambiance, and everything in between was 10/10! The steaks are obviously to die for, but don't sleep on their sides... amazing. The brûlée cream corn was the chefs kiss! All 7 of completely enjoyed our meals, drinks and inviting space! This place is a must visit for AZ.

It was the first time for our friends at this restaurant, and they said their bone-in ribeye, which they split, was the best steak they had ever had. And perfectly cooked. We are semi-regulars and always enjoy seeing our favorite server, Audrey. Steak 44 is more of a special occasion restaurant, but who says Tuesday can't be a special occasion?

The service and food quality were very good; however, the music was extremely loud and disruptive. We requested to be moved to a quieter area, and the manager accommodated us promptly — thank you for that. That said, the restaurant should reconsider the placement of speakers (currently positioned directly above customers), the choice of music, and the overall volume level to enhance the dining experience.

The Mastro's Family continues to use good business sense. When you enter the restaurant you see a well staffed friendly environment. The facility is well maintained and ready for a busy night. Management is visible and friendly. The unsung heroes in the show kitchen are hard working professionals that take pride in their craft/product. Their work areas are clean and well organized. Excellent service, excellent support staff and host staff. Quality products are essential to deliver a memorable experience. Ilene and Charles were quite demonstrable as they exhibit their well trained service staff members-Thank You!

One of the best overall dinners out I've had in awhile. I feel Ocean club has fallen off a little bit, Dominick's is another favorite of mine, but Steak44 (and Ocean44) are solid. Obviously a Friday night is busy but i never felt rushed by the staff to turn over our table. Food was perfect!

The food was excellent! Our server Ricky was AMAZING very friendly and patient with us, given it was our first time here and answered all our questions. Everyone was amazing, great food and ambience! This place does it right. One of the best restaurants in town (in any town for that matter) and one of the best steaks. This restaurant still gives that extra individual attention and care that the larger chains in town do not. You cannot go wrong with an order. The fish, steak, shellfish, and sides are all top notch. The place has a lively atmosphere and bar crowd as well. I really like that have unique items and specials including stone crabs that are generally hard to find. The one complaint I have is my server last week served an expresso martini and a chocolate martini and argued with me about it instead of simply taking it back and making it right. I do not complain much but when I do it is for legitimate reasons including because I received a drink I specifically did not want or order. The waitress was otherwise very attentive and friendly and that lapse in customer service appeared to be an anomaly that I have never experienced before. I will continue to frequent Steak 44 and hope that it continues to focus on food quality and customer service.

My son and I were in Phoenix/Scottsdale on business and I gave him an option of seeing a Phoenix Suns game or a nice steak dinner. He selected dinner at Steak 44 and I was more than pleased. Reservations were fairly easy to get and we were seated timely at a great table. Though the restaurant was crowded and tables are near, the service and ambiance made up for this minor shortcoming. We were able to have a great conversation and enjoy one another's company. The delicious steaks were done to our specifications and the service was beyond compare. At one point we had 3 servers at our table. The appetizers are more than ample and the cocktails were exceptional. I would suggest eating slowly and enjoying the wonderfulness of a great restaurant where you can have a spectacular dining experience.
