My wife and our group of 6 had an absolutely phenomenal Valentines Dinner experience at Steak 44 and I can confidently say it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was upscale yet welcoming — elegant without feeling stuffy. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between modern sophistication and warm comfort, making it ideal for both special occasions and an elevated night out. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail, from the presentation to the flavor, was executed flawlessly. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection — tender, richly seasoned, and bursting with flavor in every bite. The Branzino fish is the best I’ve ever had. It was full of flavor and cooked to perfection! We were next to an extremely loud group, but that’s not on the restaurant. Other than that, the atmosphere, service, drinks and food were superb.

My partner and I went here to have a lovely date to celebrate our anniversary. I went to use the restroom and as I came out they told my partner that he looked “too poor” to dine here and was told to leave. He is wonderful black man, but just because he dresses in a cheaper suit does not disqualify us from dining in the restaurant. We have money and we deserve respect. Do not go here if you are a person of color or look “cheap” according to them.

I went here for a bachelor party last year and was blown away at the service and atmosphere.
I decided to take my fiancé to experience Steak 44 and once again, it beat expectations as the food was amazing.
They even called me the next day to see how my experience went, which did impress me.
Steak 44 will always be a must anytime I am in the Phoenix Area and it should be for you as well.

Dinner and service (Danny) were fantastic! Parking was tricky (getting off the street and into the cue for valet) and “paying” (tipping was anticipated !) for valet wasn't anticipated... Suggest rather than serving 12oz of wagu beef for $185, you offer your quests a “choice”. 10oz for $150, 8oz for $125 so as not to induce sticker shock when the bill arrives !

Unfortunately I have to leave a less than stellar review. We have been to Steak 44 many times and the food and service has always been top-notch! Last weekend we took my sister and brother-in-law to celebrate her birthday. The food was stellar - all of it was so good! However, the service was not on par with our previous visits. For example, the waiter forgot to bring my sister‘s Coca-Cola. We had to ask. Then, we ordered six oysters three from the east coast and three from the West Coast... He repeated our order back to us and even held up six fingers. However, they brought 12 oysters to our table which we recharge for. Of course, I would have sent them back, but did not see our waiter in time. So, we simply ate them. He also continued to rush us to place our order. And, my final disappointment was when they were bagging up my leftovers, he said he would bring more sauce for my crabcake. However, when I got home and wanted to enjoy my crabcake the next day... Of course there was no sauce. Again the food was excellent but the service was not what we have come to expect from this location.
