Sunny's Lounge (Say Less)

Atmosphere: 5.5/10
Located in Phoenix. Dive-y, lively, and casual with a generally good mood, but not particularly refined. Music volume is slightly too loud. Backbar is solid. Seating is versatile with bar seats, high tops, booths, and even a patio. Same ownership as the Century Grand bars (Platform 18, Undertow, Grey Hen Rx), but the atmosphere here is clearly more relaxed and less polished.

Recommendation: Espress-OREO Martini
Nice-looking menu with average overall quality. Good drink selection. Flavors are generally good—Espress-OREO Martini stands out for being not overly sweet. Mr. Lee’s Manhattan could use better balance. No coasters. Glassware is average. Garnish is nice and drink-specific. Presentation, including ice, is good.

Water served on arrival. Very friendly and attentive team. Professionalism is average. No reservations needed. Prices are below average for Phoenix—watch out for the 100% tip option.

Small quaint dive bar with the best exotic drinks. Don't be fooled by the Google map pictures. This place rocks. Service was top notch and the crowd was very eclectic.

Went from a tequila old fashioned to hot toddy to boozy ice cream. Everything was amazing and perfectly crafted.

They went above and beyond for us with the black lagoon pop up bar. The place was immaculate and the service was top tier. The drinks were amazing and I'm so so grateful to them for everything they did.

First time visiting this bar - 10/10 experience and so excited to return! Stopped in for the black lagoon menu and could not have been more pleased with the service and our drinks. Our server Eric was so kind and genuinely made it such a fun time. Could not recommend this place more!

Finally had a chance to stop in and check this place out. Wish we would have done it a long time ago! It doesn't look like things have changed much from the outside and the inside still has a lot of it's old school appeal, but it does definitely have an edgy vibe inside. It still maintains a neighborly kind of feel to it but it effectively belies some amazing cocktail service!
Anna treated us to a fantastic Mai Tai and one of their other specialty cocktails. What impressed me the most was they're agave selection. I think they had six different expressions of Wild Common, Don Fulano, G4, Arette, Cazcanes, Site Leguas, and the ever elusive Fortaleza. I'm sure I'm missing some that I either didn't notice or forgot. Very unpretentious place but offers some seriously high-end cocktails and spirits. There is a small menu, but I guarantee you it won't disappoint if you just want a bite to eat or something a little bit more filling.
Looking forward to coming back!
Hopefully, it will be when Anna is working there otherwise I'm sure someone else will take care of us with some great drinks

Neighbour gem. Staff are fantastic, make every visit fun. Wonderful arrangement of cocktails. Recommended for casual drinks afternoon or evening. Give it a try. You'll like it!

This place is such a vibe and the bartenders are amazing. Tried the guac & roll, which was phenomenal, then tried the daammmmnnnn. Ended up not liking the second drink and they made me another guac & roll without me even asking. Truly an awesome place to come check out. Came on a whim and totally worth it. Jordan was the coolest bartender.
