Tabemono Sushi & Shabu

Large vegan menu, at least ten items plus shabu. I got TNT roll and gyoza. Gyoza ok just a little crispy for my liking. TNT roll was outstanding. Good sake selection Good services

Won't let me rate 5 stars since it's not fully vegan, but this place deserves 5 stars. Has a great selection of vegan options and taste is phenomenal! The vegan wings are so delicious and the vegan sushi is spot on. Such a great spot, I come here for lunch several times a week.

The owner sold off Yanagi sushi in Chandler and opened up this place! Very similar vegan menu to Yanagi, but way more options. I asked our server for the weekly vegan specials and she rattled off half a dozen items! (Wish they could have them printed on a menu! I wonder if they actually rotate them every week) I'm glad the sukiyaki broth wasn't too sweet, but I do wish the shabu shabu set came with more vegetables and less fake meat. The Vegan bacon was pretty good though #Veganuary

We were in the area lunch NYE, service was incredibly slow, one server for all the tables, several tables dirty dishes stacked... They had to turn one family away bc of the turnaround time. We almost left bc my young son was super hungry & couldn't wait any longer.

He really enjoyed his chicken teriyaki lunch, pretty basic, but kid approved. We also liked the mixed tempura.
I really enjoyed the ramen, the broth was the best and chew on the noodle, unfortunately after I started to break out, not the restaurants fault, I forgot to ask if they use msg. I ordered some chicken fried rice to go, but had to trash it after they confirmed msg. Won't be returning. If you're not sensitive to msg, try the ramen.

They have so many vegan options, and it never disappointing

We had the shabu-shabu (hot pot) & it was pretty good. Unlike the AYCE places, all dishes are a la carte. Surprisingly, we actually spent less than we normally do for hot pot because we're not big eaters. This place is good for those who don't want a large meal, those who like a quieter setting, and those who might be intimidated at the hot pot restaurants. The staff are friendly and will very kindly explain the process. Their broth is very good, more flavorful than other places (we chose the tonkatsu).

I loved the vegan spicy crunchy shrimp handroll! Vegan popcorn shrimp isn't something I come across very often, so that's a great option. Their menu says they also have weekly vegan specials for sushi, sashimi, and shabu-shabu.

Cool little gem! I got the ramen because I've been looking for a great ramen spot and found it! Service was decent, moderately priced and a cool vibe. I'll definitely be back!
