Excellent food and service. The decoration and atmosphere were superb. Shinji took great care of us and went above and beyond. We will be back for sure. Tabemono is our new favorite place.

We come all the way from Pasadena, CA to do the Arizona Aloha Festival in Tempe EVERY year. Last year we found Tabemono because we were staying in Chandler. This place is AMAZING! We will come here this is now our MUST GO TO every time we come out here now. The food is fresh and the service is WONDERFUL! They even remembered us when we came back this year! We love this place!
tasted fresh, the roll was just dry as hell lol. even drowned in soy sauce it was just not great and it was pretty tiny portions. I dunno maybe i just hit them at a bad time. will not be back though.

Service was very personal and friendly. We never interact with the wait staff like we did this night and he was great. Food was really outstanding and the atmosphere kept us there until after closing.

Extremely accommodating staff even when we came in about an hour before closing time. Fish was fresh and very nicely served. Unagi was delicious and ramen was very large compared to other restaurants at similar price points. Very good value for the quality and quantity of food you get. Would recommend!

Fantastic food, if it’s sent accurately. Three out of three orders recently all had missing or incorrect items. This is even more upsetting as the food is great, but paying extra fees and tip to Grubhub when someone in the household doesn’t get their item is really disappointing. Seems to be an easy thing to double check to go/delivery orders for accuracy. We love the spicy tuna rice cake cake, rolls, and tempura but we won’t order here again. Three times in a row messing up the order is enough for us.

I loved the atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food was really good. Had their fried rice, gyoza, shrimp tempura roll, and the cucumber salad. The cucumber salad was my absolute favorite. So tasty and refreshing. Will definitely dine there or even order take out.

Lots of vegan options. But if you are wanting WFPB, they do a lot of frying, have processed fake meats, and don't offer brown rice option. My first bite into asparagus roll was fibrous and had to spit that out. Most of my veggie sushi did not hold shape. My partner had to ask twice for tea refill, even though the test of is got one. Our bill was delivered incorrectly, and once corrected, there was no breakdown. I asked for brown rice, and was offered a soy sheet option. I thought that would be in place of the white rice. Instead it was just in place of seaweed, which I love and had nothing to do with what I was asking for. Waiter said he thought I didn't want seaweed , but we never talked about that. Frustrating evening. Absolutely overpriced for what we got.
