Popped by on a Friday night - we ate 3 "named" rolls ; which were excellent! The Sashimi was "meh. Server is EXCELLENT--even when they were PACKED. Fastidiously clean and fresh decor.

We love coming to Sushi Michi! We've come here 4 times now and have been super happy with our food, drinks, and service. Even when you can tell they are short-staffed, they somehow still do a great job with service. Cute little spot - can't wait for the outside patio to open!

I loved everything about my visit. The food and service were excellent. The prices are reasonable. There is an entire menu of specialty sushi rolls that are huge and so tasty and creative. There are lots of great restaurants in the 16th St. and Bethany Home area, but no sushi. Sushi Michi is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

My husband and I decided to try this new place near our house. It's a small intimate restaurant. The staff were courteous but the food was mediocre compared to others in the area. We will not be returning. We really wanted to like it because of the location

I was running around town and wanted a snack and noticed this place just opened (apparently it did 6 months ago, don't know where I've been lol) so I ordered the most basic thing I could think of in case this place sucked.-- miso soup and a spicy California roll. I was pleased to find out it does NOT suck. The place is spacious and has a nice vibe! I would definitely come back with girlfriends or on a date. (Especially since I noticed they have lunch specials and happy hour?!) Seriously even the ginger & the wasabi on the side tasted amazing and fresh. Best $10 I've spent in a while. Would recommend as of right now and can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

Overall, solid sushi spot. Ordered a to go order for their takoyaki, spicy fresh water eel roll, and sushi combo (spicy tuna roll, accompanied by 6 pieces of nigiri. I was disappointed by the takoyaki as it was missing both aonori (dried powdered seaweed) and katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes). While I do not think the omission of these two toppings "ruin" the takoyaki, I believe that these two toppings enhance the aesthetics and overall taste of takoyaki. So, huge bummer. Especially because the primary reason for me wanting sushi/japanese is because I had a huge urge/craving for takoyaki. Anywho, proceeding to the sushi. Decent, adequately fresh. The nigiri was very on par with my other go to sushi places. I will definitely make it a point to dine in one of these days to get the full experience as I've read from other reviewers that the customer service and warmth of the employees is great. I may even update my review if my dine in experience is positive. I also need to try a few of their specialty rolls, a lot of them sound very tasty (though I wish they would not have so many with cream cheese. Cream cheese just deducts from their authenticity, imo..). Also need to sample their sashimi. Regardless, I am happy they are in the neighborhood.

We came in to eat late one night right after they initially opened and we were not disappointed! Food was incredible, drinks were different and delicious, and the amount of food/quality was amazing for the price. Loved having the owners there to help us walk through different options on the menu & provide recommendations!

The service and food was spectacular. Nice lady at the front was very attentive no matter how busy she got, always anticipating needs and extremely kind. I sat at the sushi bar and it was fun to people watch and strike up convos. Even the other guests were nice 10/10 will be back
