One of my first sushi spots when I moved here and it made me feel at home. Great sushi, fresh and delicious, kind service and an intimate vibe. One of my favorite spots in Phoenix for sushi!

The best sushi Ive had in the Phoenix area, such an evident level of care and love on each plate! The chefs took time to check in on our table and offer suggestion, made us feel very valued. Coming back for omakase!

Sushi Nakano is the perfect, traditional, sushi spot. It's small and cozy, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The food is outstanding, can never go wrong with sushi here.

Best sushi and the freshest that I've eaten in AZ, my wife isn't a sushi eater and loved the las vegas roll and said it was the freshest she's ever had and I've taken her to a few spots before and this the place we both agrred6 on, the toro was my favorite.

Best sushi we have had in the Phoenix area. Highly recommended. No reservations accepted and it is very small like 6 tables and a sushi bar w some seats.

Amazing fresh fish, amazing sushi rice. Carries a lot of special things not commonly found in Arizona, such as fresh REAL Japanese wasabi root and pickled wasabi root (though they do charge extra for it). Most ingredients are actually sourced/imported from Japan. Sea bass and aged halibut both stood out, some of the highest quality eel I've ever had, and a sleeper hit was the fried eggplant nigiri, delicious!

Sushi chefs were working hard! but were still thoughtful enough to engage costumers in conversation and answered any questions we had. Overall, great atmosphere, very cozy and personable.

the food was delicious and so well-prepared. My only feedback was the bathroom could use more cleaning!

Thick generous slices of fish on top of the rolls and sushi. Very good sushi rice. Refined menu - very traditional and not too many options.

Sushi is very good at this local location. However, it's very small which can be inconvenient for others.
