I judge a sushi joint by their Sashimi, and their fish is pretty darn good. Anybody can hide bad fish in a cheap roll stuffed with “Krab with a K”. Fake crab is just filler, and often it is used by poor restaurants who just want to sling drinks and blast the music. Sushiholic is different. The vibe is very chill, and their fish is EXCELLENT!
Sushi was pretty fresh and orders came out fast, though our service was horrible. They acted like we were a bother to them showing up, server kept looking at our table multiple times. All they did was talk to some special person that showed up. I had to wave them over so we can start ordering.
Not one restaurant has lived up to my high standards… except for this one. I have visited this place with my partner (who is completely gluten free) around 5 times in a span of 4 months, and I love it more each time I come. The atmosphere is intimate (never bustling, loud, or crowded) but modern. You see a diverse range of people come in. There’s always more than enough tables for everyone (never any wait). The food is top tier for the price. You will eat and eat and drink...
