I grew up in bars like this in Upstate NY. They've come to be known as dive bars, but what they are is just a nice comfortable bar with a fair pour at a good price and friendly service. No frills, but also not the pretentious customers that come with places with frills.

The blonde lady at the bar was extremely rude to my entire party. She also seemed to be drunk while serving. Who knows what else as she was ignoring most of the people at the bar except for a few people at the end of the bar. Multiple times blew me and my group off, as well as a different couple who came in after us. I have no clue what her name was but you need to find a new person for the bar

My sister, a family friend, and I stopped in on Saturday for a quick drink. My sister and I had never been here before, and we had just come from the Hilton Lazy River — she was wearing a swimsuit with a cover-up. As we headed to the restroom, I noticed an older woman (who we later learned was the owner) staring at us. Moments later, she barged into the restroom and demanded to see our IDs.
We’re both over 21 and don’t mind being ID’d, but the way she approached us was aggressive and unnecessary. My sister explained her ID was in the car and would grab it immediately, but the woman simply told us to get out.
Shocked, I told our friend what happened and that we had to leave — despite our drinks already being made. I even showed my ID to the bartender to confirm I’m 26, which she appreciated and wrote down. However, a heated argument broke out between the owner and our family friend outside, which had nothing to do with me or my sister.
Trying not to waste our drinks, I began finishing mine — only for the owner to come storming back in and demand I put it down. I explained we hadn’t even paid yet, but she continued to yell at me. She was clearly upset over the earlier exchange and took it out on us.
Whether she was having a bad day or not, her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. No one should be treated that way — especially paying customers. If you’re looking for a welcoming place to grab a drink, skip this bar and head just two minutes down the road to Aunt Chilada’s instead.

I wish I could put neg stars because I just went a couple of hours ago and I had the most ruddiest bartenders ever!!!! We stood waiting to get a drink and when the bartender finally got around to us she said I am getting off shift and pointed to another bartender and said she will be helping you. And after another 10 min the lady that said she was getting off shift was still giving beer to the regulars there I was like are you serious your treating your non regulars like this so we ended up leaving before even getting any drink 45 min after we got there. I definitely like to try new places and this was the first time and I will never go back again ! I am one to write reviews to great and now aweful places so I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go ! Hope this help if you decide to go.
