Very nice spacious place. I visited on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't too crowded. The food came fast. The starter nacho chips were plentiful. Lots of seats and space to spread out

Parking is generally difficult. Sharing a very small lot with 3 other businesses. Food is delicious, but pricey. service could be a little friendlier, but I always attest that to management. Treat your employees well!!! Wish they still had a jukebox. Miss that.

Kid-friendliness: It's a loud, busy bar/restaurant. Personally, I don't see it as kid friendly, but to each.

I came here with my wife and two of my best friends and we had such a wonderful time. We had gone to two other places to try and catch a bite after a friend's wedding, but one place was too busy and the other was closed. Taco Guild came through for us with a welcoming atmosphere and delicious and filling food. The building itself is gorgeous as a converted church, and the stained glass windows were such a treat to look at. I loved the way they set up the bar inside and had all sorts of bottles on display.
Our server, Misty, was such a delight and very knowledgeable about the menu. She explained to us the 3 salsas that came with the complimentary chips, and gave us plenty of honest feedback and recommendations on the menu items. Our table got the enchiladas, tacos, and a bowl and we have nothing negative to say about the food other than that our stomachs simply couldn't contain it all. Everything tasted fresh and great, and all the sauces were house made and seasoned just right.
Misty was attentive to our table and anticipated our needs. We never had to ask for refills on drinks because she was ready to go with her pitcher when she checked on us. She took the time to not just check in, but have conversation with us too and it made dining feel like we were with a friend.
If you're thinking about a dessert, because the churros sounded pretty good, let me tell you that you definitely want to get them. They're fresh, warm, and perfect to split with the table!
Thank you Misty for making our experience at The Taco Guild unforgettable!

Vegetarian options: They had more options than just beans for non-meat eaters.

Dietary restrictions: Options are available for gluten free, and they were able to modify any item to remove an ingredient if needed.

This food was blasphemy to Mexican food!! The enchilada sauce tasted like sweet BBQ sauce and they served it with PLAIN WHITE RICE AND BAKED BEANS SOAKED IN BEER!! The atmosphere was nice and staff were sweet but the food was sorely disappointing and not worth the price they charge you!!

PS THEY PUT RAISENS ON THEIR CHILE RELLENO!! That should tell you everything you need to know!!

This place is a cool location but the food is utterly disgusting. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, please look elsewhere. If you want some cool drinks and a fancy venue, you’ll fit right in with the rest of the non diverse crowd.

Happy hour starts at 2pm!!!! Great selection of beer and margaritas. Been coming here for almost 4 yrs. Great for date night, meeting someone for the first time or meeting up with friends. Great live music too...food is super tasty...they do change the menu a lot.. used to have amazing street 🌮...i think they stopped serving those. Free chips and salsa 😋

Parking is tight, so be prepared to do some walking because you may need to find a place on the street nearby. The stained glass is beautiful, since it's a church that's been converted into a restaurant.

The food was delicious. The 3 salsas they had were very tasty. The mild had a nice smoky flavor, the salsa verde had a good balance of tangyness and heat. The 3rd was a habanero that had a sweet component. I don't know if I'm losing my baby mouth, but the heat level wasn't very hot and definitely not punishing. It just had a very good flavor.

I ordered the cherry chipotle steak taco, cauliflower taco, and the Guild style street corn. Everything was really delicious. The steak was succulent and tender. The cauliflower was batter fried and it was light and crispy. The corn was off the cob (you have an option with or without the cob).

Also, split a keylime crème brûlée. Just the right amount of sweet and tart.

It is spendy, but the food is really delicious!

Drove by the building and thought to myself a church that says “tacos”. Yes please.

Repurposing a church a that was built in 1893 into a taco restaurant was a great idea. I’m sure some people will say “sacrilege” when they see a bar inside the church. But rest assured this Methodist church has been deconsecrated and is no longer a house of God.

The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered a brisket taco, cherry steak taco and the guacamole fries. The tacos and fries were delicious. Note: I would recommend going on taco Tuesdays and saving a few bucks; their tacos are gourmet and the price reflects this.

They have a sign saying live music is played on certain nights as well.

A great place to take visitors, or confess your sins, just don't ask for ketchup.
