We chose this spot based on the reviews but they are MISLEADING. Tacos are already “pre-made”, the meat is cold, all they do is put it on a tortilla and serve it to you. Asada taco meat was more like ground beef in small bits. Disgusting. We are never coming back. Go to a real taco place that actually grills their meat when you’re there. NOT THIS PLACE

Let me preface this. The tacos where not unpalatable and perhaps if I wasn't spoiled by both the knowledge and saturation of now excellent street tacos places in the area this may have gotten a four.
First the good. Excellent customer service. I was asked what I wanted to drink and when I asked for something that wasn't available they offered to go and get it off site.
The consome was delicious, I should have used it as an a jus.
Now the not so good.
14 dollars for 4 tacos with only a hint of flavor and an ok consome. The best part of my experience here was the consome. It's where all the flavor for their tacos went. The cabeza was bland aside from the flavor the fixings and the meat. The pastor was not only mostly bland but somehow the meat was dry despite being drenched. Felt kinda disappointed.
If this is your closest option and you are on foot in the Phoenix summer, then maybe consider it. However at the price point and it being outdoors maybe opt for something else. Especially given the plethora of competition.
If it's Taco Tuesday forget it so many place will be offering street tacos for a dollar and with better flavor.
Parking: In the parking lot of Sushi Sonora there's spots don't expect mall size parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: As it's in a parking lot with no steps or obstacles it's friendly

I stopped here unintentionally after my usual taco spot was closed unexpectedly. I was on my way to another place and saw this taco stand on the side of the road. I decided to try it since it was right there next to me while I was stopped at the red light. Might as well, right? The options are cabeza, lengua, and birria tacos. I chose the cabeza, which also comes with consommé (broth). The tacos were delicious, meat was tender, and the consommé was also really good. I ate the consommé with the tacos and by itself like soup because it was that good. The tacos were $3 each and had the usual onions and cilantro topping, red salsa, green salsa and lime on the side. I would definitely eat there again. Try it out for yourself if you’re in the area and want something cheap and delicious to eat. They don’t have the usual carne asada or pollo tacos but these are just as good, promise.

3 months ago I went to eat at this establishment for the first time on the recommendation of a family member, the food was delicious but the service was terrible, the guy in the photo treated me like they have never done in any restaurant or food cart , I asked him If he could sell me another type of tacos and he laughed mockingly, (you can never imagine who is going for the first time so that you can politely explain what you sell, it is common for each Cabeza tacos cart to also sell varieties of tacos) my relative was who explained to me that they sell there because I saw that they also sell hotdogs,,,,,, I ordered to go and minutes later I ordered to eat there and he also laughed and muttered between his teeth,,, and in front of those who were eating there I yelled at him, "if you don't want to sell them to me, just say so to go to another cart." My relative was as crazy as I was and told me that he had never seen that guy like that. When they served our food he didn't come back to serve us, and even my relative who usually eats there often didn't want to leave a tip because of the guy's arrogance.
