The food I ordered had no flavor. Should have been a little spicier.

Why is such a delicious restaurant only in Phoenix?
California’s Silicon Valley needs it too
Is the boss considering opening one in San Francisco's South Bay?

There is no doubt that this is authentic Taiwanese food. If you want to miss Taiwanese flavor and Taiwanese stir-fries, this is the right place to come. The food portions are also very sufficient. I have been very satisfied after eating it several times??But I have never tried the free sweet mung bean soup. ?
The food is pretty tasty. And there's free mung bean sweet soup in the end, which is perfect. ?? Highly recommended.

THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC TAIWANESE FOOD. Arrived there and waited 5 min until someone came out to seat us. We ordered, and it took 30 min for the first dish to come out. (Even when there was only 3 other tables) The next dish came out after we finished the first dish. The fried tofu in the second dish was too stiff. Most dishes didn't have much flavor either. Tbh my mom says Panda Express is better (spoken from an adult who lived in Taiwan until in her teens). Edit: lowered to one star due to response.

Restaurantji Recommends
First time here, Don’t be shy because they don’t speak much English. The experience is totally authentic Taiwan (went last year). The food is amazing and prices / portion size ratio were great! Highly recommend trying the fried noodles. Apparently they have karaoke some evenings ! Want to come back and try that ??

The food is authentic! We stumbled into this Taiwanese restaurant on our way to Sedona. The outside of the restaurant looks really rundown and has “Chinese Food” sign. I hesitated to go in, but my kids want Asian food before we head into Sedona. The hand written Chinese menu on the whiteboard brought us straight back home! The owner said they bought freshly and change menu depending on their ingredients! It was so delicious my kids asked to stop by before we head to airport, and asked if we can pack some home to Orange County. We had beef noodle soup, stirfry seasonal veggies, shrimp and egg dish, bamboo shot with meat, and three flavors chicken. Everything is super yummy! It served as family style, three dishes for four of us are plenty!
A must try if you want some authentic Taiwanese food! We may plan a trip to Sedona again, so we can swing by this restaurant.

I thought this was ShinMe but apparently it's now Taiwan Bistro! Google still has the previous establishment as well as this new restaurant assigned to this address. Server did not speak English so I was unsure about seating and how long it would take to be seated or if I could dine in. But she was very nice and did her best to serve the customers present. Food tasted great. Restaurant does look like it just opened up inside though, needs more style and decor.

I ordered mutton soup with a lot of mutton. The stir-fried shredded pork with bamboo shoots was good and not too oily. ?
