Food’s good, authentic. Beef tendon was tender. Nice broth. The plum juice is fun. I think the price is very reasonable as well. Will come back for the tapas as the selection is quite extensive.

Only if the owner is open-minded: I guarantee fixing the points below will make this place much better and help the business last longer:
1. The KTV microphone is almost useless, you can barely hear it, which hurts the whole experience. 2. Chopsticks should be upgraded. The disposable ones are very rough and cheap, with splinters that make you worry about hurting your lips. A nice set of thick real reusable Asian-style chopsticks would elevate the dining experience. 3. Napkins are too small and flimsy. Red color no good! Switch to larger, good-quality thick plain, remember white colors only! 4. Chairs are very uncomfortable. Even HD has nice options that let people sit longer without pain and discomfort. You should not be cheap on chairs. 5. One toilet was out of order! 6. The restroom faucets have very weak water flow (both hot and cold), makes it so hard to wash hands properly. 7. The menu board is placed right next to guest tables, so people eating get disturbed whenever someone comes to read the menu. That setup is just so so awkward. Moving it to a separate area is a must! 8. Overall cleanliness needs improvement. 9. The food tastes so so

The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself was just average.
The pineapple shrimp was basically fried shrimp smothered in mayonnaise, with only a few tiny pieces of pineapple. The mayo was overpowering, and combined with the deep-fried shrimp, the whole dish was overly greasy. The salted egg tofu was okay. I ordered an oyster omelet but was served fried oysters instead—not bad, but not what I asked for.
At this price point, I honestly don’t see why I wouldn’t just go to Yong Tai Fung instead.

Great food with authentic Taiwanese style and taste.
I can’t speak to the bad customer service other people mention, but as an American-Taiwanese, the food and dishes are very authentic. No complaints. I think a number of Westerns come here expecting Panda Express, and not the non-American focused cuisine catered specifically for my ethnic/cultural group. Lost in translation or cultural barriers and all that. I was very surprised that Arizona had Taiwanese food to be honest, as it’s not very diverse here.
