The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food itself was just average.
The pineapple shrimp was basically fried shrimp smothered in mayonnaise, with only a few tiny pieces of pineapple. The mayo was overpowering, and combined with the deep-fried shrimp, the whole dish was overly greasy. The salted egg tofu was okay. I ordered an oyster omelet but was served fried oysters instead—not bad, but not what I asked...

I can’t speak to the bad customer service other people mention, but as an American-Taiwanese, the food and dishes are very authentic. No complaints. I think a number of Westerns come here expecting Panda Express, and not the non-American focused cuisine catered specifically for my ethnic/cultural group. Lost in translation or cultural barriers and all that. I was very surprised that Arizona had Taiwanese food to be honest, as it’s not very diverse here.

Food’s good, authentic. Beef tendon was tender. Nice broth. The plum juice is fun. I think the price is very reasonable as well. Will come back for the tapas as the selection is quite extensive.
