So sad they no longer have a sushi bar. I loved the service and the people I met. This was the hottest sushi restaurant in the neighborhood!!!! Love you Richard!

Way too pricey for the low grade food. Horrible customer service. Try to explain to the owner regarding the policies and got rude remarks back. Aloha Oe to this dump.

My friends and I are often on a quest to find true mom and pop restaurant or hole in the walls and this really did it for us! They have Korean bbq booths but also other seating where you can order from a menu or ask them to cook the kbbq for you in the back if you don't want to grill it yourself. It has a lot of the go to Japanese and Korean meals you would expect, as well as a lot of authentic meals (I had a Korean tripe soup). The family running the restaurant was super friendly and genuine people. If you like Asian food and want a mom and pop experience, I'd give this place a go! I'll definitely have to come back!

Ordered a sake bomb and didn't realize my glass had lipstick still on it until after I poured my drink. Some qc on the cleaning practices would be nice.

Very authentic and delicious Korean and Japanese food. Service was really good and prompt. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. We ordered soup- soon du bu; mushroom and beef. It was the perfect flavor , savory and earthy. Beef was tender and the mushrooms were delicious. If you like tofu, definitely try it. We ordered chadol baeki and bulgogi for the grill options. The banchan/sides were fresh and tasty. My favorite sides were the kimchi, fish cake, and bean sprouts. But trust me, they were all good. The kids had miso soup and rice. I’ll have to post another review with pictures next time. I was with family so I didn’t have my phone nearby. If you want a family oriented and authentic experience, dine at Takamatsu.Parking: Ample parkingKid-friendliness: Everyone is friendly . Seating is comfortable

Highly recommend asking for current pricing when eating here. Food is ok, but was charged over 70$ for 2 plates of bulgoki and one plate of yokisoba. Menu does not reflect this price at all, in fact it states under 17$ per plate, which is reasonable. When asked why it was so expensive, I was simply told it was the dinner menu and the cost was over 29$ per plate, which is no where on their menu in the restaurant or on line. . We ordered at 230pm. Will not return.

Don't let the area fool you. This place is a gem!! So tasty!!! Service is exemplary!! Can't wait to go back. It's worth every penny. They don't scrimp on the meat. Fantastic and I highly recommend. The best tasting that I have been to.
