As a person who grew up in Los Angeles, when the Persian diaspora moved into Beverly Hills in 1979, I have grown up eating fine Persian cuisine. Tala Food Market At 2507 East Bell Rd. serves some of the best Persian dishes I have had, even better than the famous restaurants in Westwood and the one that everyone knows about in Glendale, California. Their gormeh sabzi and chicken kebab is of the highest quality and tastes like homemade. The market itself carries the “greatest hits” that you would find in any Persian market. They even have my favorite Sangak Brought in frozen from Los Angeles with the brand that everybody knows. It is very heartwarming and nostalgic. I give TALA my highest rating.
