Tried just about everything on the menu for myself and gatherings. Always excellent. Favorites are spring rolls and curry dishes. Spicy hot to your preference.
This is one of those restaurants in a strip mall that you’ll pass and never think about eating at. The inside and outside may look bare-bones, however, the food was a delight! I had the green papaya salad and drunken noodles with steamed tofu. The salad was spicy as it should be, and the drunken noodles was plentiful. On a scale of 1 to 5, you can choose your level of spice. The service was excellent and friendly.
The owner is really nice lady. The food is excellent! More parkings in the back (south).
I've been to numerous Thai restaurants from Phoenix to Los Angeles and Talay Thai has the best homestyle Lad Nah noodles and roasted duck!!!
I ordered for the first time as a pickup order. I usually get red curry at Thai places but I wanted broccoli so got the panang instead. The sauce was thick and flavorful with fresh veggies. I forgot to include a spice level and it was a solid 5/10 level, which is where I like it. They were able to accommodate coconut cream in the Thai tea so I could have a delicious vegan treat. Order was ready 2 minutes early. Staff was friendly during my short pick up. Plan to order from again when my next Thai craving hits.
This made my day wonderful. I was having a bad day and the food was awesome as usual. I walked in and Sam had a smile on his face and he was very friendly. My favorite dishes from this place is panang curry and fried tofu!!!
Delicious green curry, lots of veggies and big shrimp! Sweet ladies, great service. We were very pleased
I went on an off hour to get a meal to go. No masks on the two staff members but that seems to be the norm in Maricopa county. The owner was very nice and the food was made quickly.Unfortunately the food was downright terrible. I had Pad Kee Mao with tofu. No flavor or sauce and bland. The vegetables seemed like leftovers and weren’t edible. The food gets one star, the kind staff gets another. Wouldn’t return.
I've ordered takeout here twice now and it's been a slam dunk both times. The portions are great, the spice level and flavor is perfect, and the prices are reasonable.
I am very picky when it comes to GOOD Asian food. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve tried- authentic and home made. Love the papaya salad, their curries, everything! And the spice level is on point. A must-try!!!

The best thai food I've had!!! We are definitely coming back!
Thai is my ultimate favorite & Talay is the BEST Thai food I have ever experienced. We always request our food be prepared a specifoic way due to allergies and they accomodate every time.Dining at Talay is an Experience of amazing service, consistent flavor & textures of the dishes and you can feel the love poured into each dish from the Chef.Well worth the drive down the mountain!
Most amazing food and wonderful service. Had a great experience! When they say it is spicy, believe it! The boba tea was delicious!
This place is delicious! I have been to many Thai restaurants and this place is far better than all. As an example; it’s the only one where the vegetables are cooked through and taste the way they should. I drive 30 minutes just to have this Thai.
So so so yummy! We had pad tai, yellow curry, coconut shrimp, and wontons. Everything was hot and fresh! Delicious flavors and good service. Will be back!!!
