Taquería y Birriería is a hidden gem on the south side of Phoenix! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tacos were so good and they weren't skimpy on the ingredients. I had the pork tacos El pastor and they had great flavor and the shells were tasty! The shells had a little crunch that I liked a lot but overall they were soft. This place is definitely worth the drive when you're looking for some great taco!
This place has me eating pork!!! I don't like pork!!! the pork tacos are FANTASTIC discovered this place and can not stop coming. The flavor and seasoning are on point. The tacos I order only come with meat onion and cilantro. Usually, I ask Ranch Market to load my tacos with sour cream cheese lettuce pico the works but these are the first tacos I've ever enjoyed as they come. Came from Toronto and was craving tacos late night, this place only had 1 server who spoke English and she was very sweet! We ordered the Al pastor, Cabeza and the Birria tacos to go and THEY WERE AMAZING, felt very homey, the corn tortilla was probs the best I’ve ever had! The Cabeza was probably the best, very soft and fatty. We came back the next night for more!
