Went by this afternoon and it was closed. Another restaurant opening up in its place. I really enjoyed the location in El Paso TX and was excited that there was one here in Phx. So much for that!
Very good tasting food.
Based out of Just, it us a little taste of home for my wife.
Food was very good ..better then other Mexican food places .
Different than the run of the mill Mexican food restaurant! New tastes and flavors!
Amazing food!! Cant believe I found this place outside of El Paso. What a hidden treasure
Food was super good i was scetch at first but ill definitely be a regular here! No complaints .
Not quite as good as the one in El Paso. Missing the condiments station, and for some reason its served on a bed of lettuce. but the flautas are still bomb!
great traditional Mexican food.

Restaurantji Recommends
First discovered El Cometa while working in El Paso. Excited to find out the same family opened up a location here in Phoenix! Great food and highly recommended!!
Love this place .. staff is kind and friendly and food is delicious
1st time here, very friendly staff. Fresh food, I would definitely recommend.
Food was decent and service was great
We discovered this restaurant under different owners. Loved it. Now, it is a different story. Hot food served cold. They ran out of ice tea at 7 pm on a Friday night. Salt shakers so disgusting, I walked around the empty restaurant until I found one that I could pick up without gagging. Menu had crusted hot sauce stuck to it. When asked by the management about our dinner, I politely had to give him the truth. He shrugged his shoulders and said the restaurant was taking a different turn by switching to "authentic taqueria style food."
