Food was too greasy and too fatty. But very authentic Mexican.

Very delicious tacos and the sopes omg stop by and try it family own restaurant

Stopped by Tortas El Güero here in Phoenix and had their torta de milanesa and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich came with a small side of fries, perfect portion. What really stood out were their homemade sauces: a spicy red hot sauce and a creamy guacamole green sauce, both full of flavor.

What I love even more is supporting a family-owned business. I got to see “El Güero” himself along with the family running the spot. You can feel the pride and love they put into their food. Definitely recommend if you’re craving a solid torta and want to support local!

Been coming here since we moved to the neighborhood in 2019. Their cochinita torta is what keeps me coming back. Excellent fries too with substantial portions. I can see why they are voted best tortas in the valley. Plus they have a vegetarian option! Cannot recommend enough. Real Coke too what’s not to love. Both dine in and take out are great

This seems to be a family owned restaurant, and their food is absolutely amazing. I got the Carne Asada torta. The bread is very fresh and crispy when they grill it up with the rest of the ingredients. It is so good.

After randomly choosing this place based on the road i was driving down i stumbled across this restaurant.

It's a semi cozy mexican sandwich joint. But upon walking up to the order counter I was greeted by a beefcake white guy, about 20 and I asked him for a recommendation and he directly said couldn't tell ya, very dry person with a constant scowl on his face.

So I got the cubana torta. And looked around and the place has a whole mafia front house vibe. So I sat and ate and observed and the vibe was just off.

The food on the otherhand was okay. The meat in the sandwich was over cooked, dry and greasy, but the veggies on it were good. I felt cautious after a few bites. Wouldn't be back. Place is sketchy.

We had been wanting to try this place for quite sometime and it was disappointing, We paid 40 dollars for two tortas, the food isn't horrible but it isn't the best either. I definitely think it's overpriced for what we got.

I’d rate an overall 2, just because the value isn’t there and the food is average. My torta was ok, my fries were ok but it was over $21 and for that price in this area you can get really good food. It was a $13-14 value at the very most. You can get good enchiladas at a nice sit down restaurant across the street for $15

Very delicious Tortas it’s been voted number one in Phoenix and it’s clear why the ingredients are fresh and delicious the meat is thick and the salsa plus the delicious fries!! The owner is very sweet and it’s a wonderful family!! Bring everyone here!!it’s truly an oasis in the food desert! Support local families who work hard and have mastery of their craft!

This place advertised to close at 6, online & on their door. But we got there at 5 and they didn't want to serve us.

Very good service, there is a lot of smoke in the place, you come out smelling like cake and they seem very expensive to me, the cakes are small and with taxes you pay more than 17 usd. The flavor is normal, nothing out of this world for the price.

Cool place with good vibes. Everyone was really nice and the torta I got (Cochinita) was arguably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Will be back for sure!

No one can turn down good mexican food. If you ever want a delicious torta or tacos this is the place to go. Place is family owned which is a bonus. Highly recommend.
