Great food at prices within reason (as typical for Texas Roadhouse). Service was a little strained.

Came on a crowded weekday evening. Seating was almost no wait thanks to their smooth online list service.

The food was hearty a delicious (if life threatening). The bread was like home. Tater skins were amazing. And our entrees and sides were on point as usual.

Our server was nice and generally effective, but she was frazzled and rushed - to the point where we were starting feel uncomfortable ourselves. It seems the younger folks at the table next to us had waited at the bar before seating and brought their drinks with them. They were not intoxicated by any measure and seemed generally pleasant. Mot sure what the issue was but she was upset that she had to card them and then reading them her training / policy.

During the meal, one had gone up to the bar and got another drink (presumably because he was afraid of her), and oh boy. She stood there another 5 minutes reading them the riot act about over-serving and claiming to quite the law (these kids were visitors for spring training).

The whole thing was very awkward and clearly it was distracting for her - so when she did take our order or check on us, it was always very frenetic and felt like we were being rushed.

Order a dozen of rolls to go. I requested fresh rolls. But what I got was a total disappointment. I got all they way home and the damn rolls where over cook top was hard and over dark brown. I called was put on hold. A waste of money and time

The poorest quality of steak I have had in a long time, had more fat than steak. Flavorless.

The evening started off fine. We were sat immediately, we ordered bone in ribeye. With a loaded baked potato and side salad, the salad was bland have no flavor the food was cooked to order, but was lukewarm, not hot. The loaded baked potato, lacked butter and very little sour cream. And very little bacon
The manager was making his rounds and asked how our food was. I informed him that the food came out. Lukewarm, and his response was. Thank you for letting me know and did nothing to help correct the issue. My server looked at my iced tea Twice and did not refill it. We had to bring it to his attention.
Overall, the experience was mediocre at best. We hadn't been to this location in a couple years, and this evening's experience reminded us why.

Customer service has gone out the window here. They mess up you food , and the mangers question you like I did something wrong. How about training your employees to complete the orders correctly

Tonight was "The Worst Experience" we've ever had coming to this location - yes we've been here on several occasions & have never experienced this type nor level Experience ever - I hope they do something about their customer service "ASAP" Please let me say that I feel it was a very low attention on customer service. We placed our orders 10 - 15 mins before the guest sat next to us - we watched as the bartenders attended to every other customer & never said a word to us - We Will No Longer go to a texas road house

I'm not sure if it's just this location that has sub-par service or maybe they all do. The steaks were ordered medium and past well done was served. We would have had them replaced with properly cooked ones but our waitress never returned. We ate the bread, and finished our beverages, and left after 45 min. I don't like complaining about food or bad service, so we will just never return.

Before I get into it, I want to preface with I love Texas Roadhouse and this location especially, but with that being said, the night of the 28th was an outlier experience. The group and I are younger folk but all above 21, and when we got ID check the manager on the floor denied one of our group. Now I have served for 7+ years and managed for 5, I get that if there is doubt then deny is the safe choice, that’s not what this review was about. We asked what made her determine the ID was fake and she started to point out elements of the ID that had no determining factor indicating that their ID check book was wildly out of date, and then, as we get up to leave, she stopped us and made the comment “you guys should go to Mellow mushroom, they will take all your fake ids”. This was an absolute ridiculous comment to make and is wildly unprofessional. We gained other forms of ID and came back, proved that we were of age, stated that her comment was an insane thing to say as a MANAGER, called her out on having absolutely zero clue on determining a real ID from a fake one, and that making up reasons for why an valid ID is fake is beyond ridiculous. But the comment is what this review is about. In no world should a manger say that to ANYONE, especially if they have zero clue on what they are talking about. She proceeded to run away saying absolutely nothing with zero apology and making no effort to rectify the issue and taking no accountability. We decided to stay after this interaction and the rest of the night was great with a great server, Cody, and had the experience that we know this location can provide. So if any of the mangers see this comment, know that we had a great time after. But how the manager acted that night was very much unprofessional and she obviously had no clue what she was looking at, and then doubled down on her mistake. We will continue to come back because we love this place. The only complaint is how the manager deals with situations such as ours.

Food Poisoning & Ruined Vacation

I generally like going to Texas Roadhouse because I get great service at a great price.

I don’t give a review this bad but I know for a fact I got food poisoning from this Texas Roadhouse, I don’t know if it was the chili or the pulled pork but for the last three days It’s been a nightmare dealing with food poisoning.

My server Austin, was great, the manager was very friendly and helpful, but it’s been an absolute nightmare since I was there dealing with something they put in the food

Came to Phoenix for vacation to go hiking and enjoy the scenery but now I’m spending every 20 minutes running to the restroom, it’s not any fun

I just visited this restaurant with mixed feelings about the service policy. On arrival, one member of our party was running slightly late, and instead of allowing us to be seated and enjoy drinks while waiting, we were firmly instructed to wait at the entrance. This was particularly frustrating as there were clearly open tables available. The front desk young lady was quite impolite when asked to explain the 'policy'.

By the time our friend arrived, we had been standing for a considerable period, which could have been easily avoided if we were allowed to sit down. The policy not only seemed rigid but also lacked the common courtesy of making guests comfortable.

The experience left a sour note, overshadowing what could have been a pleasant afternoon. Restaurants should consider the comfort of their patrons, especially when tables are available. Perhaps a policy allowing guests to wait at a table could enhance customer satisfaction significantly.

Went in at 1215 pm with 2 told them waiting for 3 more hostesses said we had to wait for the other 3 to arrive b4 being seated keep in mind facility wasn't busy at all. I asked if we could sit n bar hostess said yes. So we sat on a hightop table figured we sit there and wait for the other 3 to arrive and we would just remain there n eat. The bar keep came up n said we couldn't sit there until the remainder of party arrived i told her it would b only few minutes still got kicked out. Crazy to me i can see if the place was busy 3 tables n bar occupied. Common sense doesn't exist here. We left crazy place.

Went there on a Thursday evening for dinner... Very busy.

Service was slow... Probably due to crowd. You'd get service and then they would be gone. Not attentive type service, just doing a job.

Ordered the ribs... Fell off the bone, but had way too much crispy char on the exterior, took away from the quantity, quality of tender meat. Some of the meat was dry and chewy.

Uhm... Was okay.
But for the price, I would try something else. Unless they corrected some items with the ribs.

Good hot bread, but would like regular real creamy butter, and not the cinnamon butter. Too sweat.

The Caesar salad was pretty good.

First time customer and live near bye. We'll see about another visit 🤔.

Where to even begin…. Besides our waiter Austin, the rest of the staff were all rude including the manager. We were told everyone had to physically be present in order to be seated and were asking if we could make a smaller table work for the party of 9 and two kids. They referenced the size of the table as if we knew whether or not it would fit 9 people and two kids and after questioning it the girl working the wait list just ignored our confusion and kept talking making faces and making it seem like we should of known this information. Once everyone arrived they still made us all stand and wait on their unfriendly staff to be seated. After getting our rolls we instantly noticed they were not the same and asked the staff if they had switched vendors. To our surprise they were all bothered by the question and acted like there was nothing different and did not offer to switch them out. Our question was simple and the least they could of done was to offer to bring new ones out but no one did and instead they said there was nothing wrong with them. The manager made his round and noticed all the rolls were still sitting on the table and asked how the food was so far. I let him know what the issue was and how they tasted worse than store bought rolls. The manager did not take criticism very well and made horrible facial expressions, even after several of us explained our discontent with the rolls. He then admitted they were over cooked but also did not offer to bring out new ones. The manager never came back to check after we got our food and everyone we spoke with besides Austin was bothered to serve us. Other family members had warned us that this location was staffed with rude employees but we decided to give them a chance to prove themselves and we strongly regret it. It was no way to celebrate our daughters birthday. I will not be bringing them any more business and will advise everyone I know against doing so.
