THE BEST Thai food in the area. Staff is so kindhearted. Get the Pad Thai and Coconut Ice Cream :)

Called in to order as their site didn't support any requests for dishes, which is understandable especially as those modifications can get complicated for a busy restaurant. It was totally fine to remove the chicken, tofu, and bell pepper from the Mee Krob (I stated I have no problem paying full price) and we ordered a shrimp yellow curry and extra rice. With 4 cans of soda an extra side of jasmine rice it came out to about 50 bucks. The drinks made up like 12 of that, but it was still cheaper than the hotel.

Enough logistics! The food was delicious! Creamy, thick, rich yellow curry that coated the rice nice and thicc. Easily a dozen plump tasty shrimp in it totally justifying the common upcharge. The Mee Krob was perfect and just what my wife craved, packed with salty sweet flavor, crunchy bean sprouts and tangy green onion. Simple preparation with all the items removed. The restaurant was about to close and the staff was relaxed and friendly. I realized that's why he didn't even ask for a name. Super solid and deserves all 5 stars for more than meeting our expectations.

(The Tupperware was mine, used as a bowl for the curry)

Dietary restrictions: Their web interface didn't accept any modifications, but calling in it wasn't a problem. I could see it getting tough asking for mods on to go orders during a busy dinner service.

Overall it is good and they seem to be doing better quality than a couple years ago.

Of course, I’m not going to come back. The service was terrible—I requested water multiple times, but the staff seemed to ignore us. One of my friends ordered drunken noodles with medium spice, but there was no flavor at all. We couldn’t taste any spice or see any chili peppers. We also ordered Thai tea but never received it. I’ll just go back to Zen Thai, which is literally across the street—they serve much better food than this place.

Mid, I lived in DTPHX and one of my biggest regrets is eating here over Zen Thai (literally across the street) for the majority of my time there

Absolutely not. I'm in shock. There is no sauce on the drunken noodle. No spice, no flavor. Nothing. Had my heart set on this and I'm so mad right now. Never again. Im choosing to believe they made the wrong order because this can't be it.

Let's start with, this place is underrated. It deserves a higher rating and I hope they get it.

Saw this when we were looking for parking to go to a different restaurant. Stopped a local to see which they preferred and they said definitely Thai Basil so we stopped in. The staff is amazing, kind, and helpful. The restaurant was clean and cozy. The food was aromatic, appealing to the eye, and absolutely delicious. It was filling as well. With a coconut and mango allergy, I am often weary about possible contamination as I have had issues with other restaurants. This is not an issue here.

Vegetarian options: Can do tofu or no meat.

Dietary restrictions: Zero cross contamination with coconut and mango, especially since one dish at the table contained coconut.
