Didn't try the food. Service was good. Typical hotel restaurant and everything is ridiculously overpriced. Coffee is decent. Starbucks.

Convenient to the airport, over and above service from front desk staff and a welcome smile or greeting from each employee. The rooms were clean and dining options are fairly easy to drive to. Parking around the building is plentiful but not super convenient when you are moving a good distance bringing luggage over the rocky, sandy parking lot. We did not have need of the shuttle to the airport so no information on how well that works for travelers. The location worked well for us and I would stay here again.

Convenient++Across the Salt Riverbed from Skyharbor is an office park and a cluster of hotels. We hate to drive at night, so we book a room here before and after our vacations. Then the drive down I-17 is in the daylight. Check-in is fast and convenient. The outside walls are mostly soundproof. We were able to adjust our body clocks to Eastern time before we even boarded an aircraft. Well worth the price.

We needed a hotel close to the airport and since we had an early flight it did not matter that they do not serve breakfast. Generally I stay away from Courtyards because there is no free breakfast and generally they are the same but more expensive than Fairfield Inns. The location is good for the airport and not too far from Tempe restaurants. When checking in the clerk said there were no upgrade rooms for my Platinum status so he comped the parking which was nice.It turns out that we did have an upgraded room which in this case was the handicap room which was actually two large rooms. The only downsize is that the bathroom is oddly laid out given its special purpose. The price was OK as was our short stay.

Let me begin this review by stating the rating should not be a reflection of the staff. THEY we're fantastic, friendly, professional and efficient!!My only issue for the lower review was the facility. It was clean however the AC was Soooooo noisy. It started with a log bang and resembled that of a jet engine firing up inside of our room. And the bed was not comfortable. Deep pit in the middle made it hard for 2 people to sleep without a sore back. Lastly, the parking lot is basically dirt/gravel. Tough to drag those bags across. Cmon Marriott...you can do better. You're staff is working hard with what you give them.

Phoenix gets very busy and this was one of the hotels I could find with a reasonable price. We loved our comfortable room and the beds were dreamy as we had no problem falling asleep. Let me mention one important thing do not get a room near an exit door. Starting at 530am all I could hear were people talking down the hallway as they left and that dam door slamming when they were leaving. I'll take one star away for that annoying door.

I called the receiption for the airport shuttle and they promised me five minutes. I was very tired after 14 hours flight time. After 15 minutes I called again. They promised me another 5 minutes. But it took another 15 minutes until they arrived. No excuse, unfriendly checkin. Never again!

You’re better off choosing a different hotel than this one…. The breakfast, which wasn’t included, was probably the worst part. It took 30 mins to get some pancakes french toast and bagels out. The bagel was toasted so much it became hard as a rock and almost inedible. The french toast didn’t meet my expectations and the pancakes has some kind of cottage cheese on top which wasn’t great. I was already surprised that there wasn’t a buffet as in most courtyards there are buffet’s and generally they don’t disappoint. Other than that, friendly staff and I’m not paying $6 for water in my room

Decent food, but waaay too expensive. Bottles drinks are $5+ each.

Ok if you don't have another option but limited choice, quality just ok.
