Pleasantly surprised. New to Az. all of our dishes were really good. Menu had a lot of options. We had oysters, short ribs, blackened ahi and the crab cakes all delicious. Would definitely return.
It was our first time there and we loved it. Far exceeded our expectations. Service was wonderful, food was creative and delicious. Ambience was very enjoyable.
Great experience! Our server was very attentive and accommodating. Food was great. Great lunch overall!
Very tasty food... and cooked to perfection with great presentation. Service was superb...not overbearing. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful, if we needed assistance.
We cannot wait to come back. We had lunch during restaurant week. Starting with the signature cocktail The Collins - a smooth and fragrant combination of gin and vodka. Delightful. I enjoyed the best crab cake with arugula salad while my partner described his French dip as the best he's had- “like butter” tender and delicious. We thought the shrimp cocktail sauce was amazing and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, but it was covered in a very spicy chili sauce that seemed unnecessary. I'm looking forward to the dinner menu!
Overall, this was a good experience. I enjoyed their food, the service, and the ambience. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
We frequent the Collins Small Batch about 3-4 times a year as we live in the 'hood. Always a wonderful experience, from the service to the food to the ambiance. This last time, though, was different. First, we got the kind of table we enjoy, which I appreciate. Then, when we got the menus, we realized it was restaurant week, which we try to avoid every time it happens. For the food, my husband ordered the prime rib, which was delicious. He felt sorry for me and shared it with me. I ordered the steak special, medium rare. It came out medium well and tough. As I reflect on it, they are not a steak house, so I probably shouldn't be ordering steak from them. Don't get me wrong...I've had other items on their menu that were delicious, such as the baby back ribs and the short ribs. As for the service, we felt somewhat forgotten during this visit, which is so out of the ordinary for Collins. We waited what seemed like an extended time to order our food, and even a more extended time to get our check. We will definitely return, but with bit of skepticism. We will hope to experience the Collins we are familiar with.
Pleasant reception, reserved table was waiting for us. Excellent service. Love the Biltmore Chicken and the salmon tartare. On this night there was a rather loud group at the long table in the bar; we like to sit in the bar area so this happens occasionally. We'll be back.
Last night I died and went to food heaven! It's been a while since I've had such flavorful and well crafted dishes! We enjoyed the mushroom lasagna (which had an amazing flavor profile from a tomato sauce that had so much depth to it but without the dish itself having an overbearing mushroom flavor), Caesar salad (which had a perfect dressing), Ahi tuna (perfectly cooked and seasoned), the herb salad ( I passed on it because it sounded like it was gonna be too earthy, but thank goodness my husband didn't because it was well dressed with a slightly tangy slightly sweet vinaigrette.... I will be ordering it the next time we go). For dessert we had the coconut cream pie and the chocolate mousse pie. The lavender cocktail was also delicious! Despite celebrating our anniversary with a reservation for a table in the dining area- we ended up sitting in the bar area, because our table wasn't ready when we arrived (and there was no ETA on when another similar table in the dining area would be available). Fortunately, there was seating in the bar area that was very similar to what we had requested in the dining room. The service was super friendly from the hostess to the servers. The seating is adequately spaced so you don't feel like you're right on top of the tables on either side of you. From start to finish, it was a culinary experience that we look forward to enjoying again!
Excellent service from start to finish. Our server, Victoria, was very kind and professional and didn't miss a beat.

The Collins never disappoints! Great service, delicious food, a great place to celebrate any occasion! Happy Birthday to me! Thanks Collins for making my day a great one!
We had an amazing time! We took advantage of happy hour when we first arrived by ordering cocktails (bourbon and berries was the fave) and the lemon shrimp risotto (to die for)! Then we ordered the butcher's cut which was 14 oz boneless NY strip steak and the ahi tuna steak. Steaks were perfectly seared! The coconut cream pie slice was larger than expected and melted in your mouth! 10 / 10 recommend!
Always a great time, service and food superb. Branzino was overcooked and dry, only disappointment. Drinks fantastic.
Our server was a delight. Friendly, communicative, and she answered all our question. I ordered the branzino fish special and it was fabulous. The dish included Perfect risotto! Thank you. My companion ordered an oven-fired pizza. The pizza looked beautiful. He told me it was one of the best pizzas he had eaten in years.
Terrific Friday Fare! All in the party enjoyed their selection from Lobster Roll to Crab Cakes to Crispy Grouper Sandwich. And we followed up with the best Coconut Cream Pie ever! The Collins is our new meeting place for sure.
