We have dined at The Collins Small Batch countless times since we live walking distance away. We always have a delightful experience. The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. I always look forward to going. My favorite items are the CLASSIC spaghetti squash . blistered tomatoes . pommery mustard and the twisted noodle salad. I crave them both lol!
We recently returned to The Collins for Easter lunch after having a memorable dinner there on a previous occasion. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet our expectations. While the service was satisfactory, the food quality fell short. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with loaded smashed potatoes. The chicken breast was surprisingly dry and lacked depth of flavor, and the bacon bits in the potatoes were overly hard and unappetizing. My son had the club sandwich and similarly...
I don't think we caught them on their best night but still it was ok and food was good. Just some confusion in the ranks among the servers, nothing terminal, I'd try again.
