I finally visited today since I was in the area, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the space is cute, and the menu is solid. I ordered the chilaquiles, which were good, though I’d love to try something different next time.
If this is what “witch covens” are like, I’m in. 🖤✨🔮

The food here was pretty solid! We had the chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and a burger — both were flavorful and filling. There’s also an attached coffee shop owned by the same owner where we tried a few vegan desserts and some coffee that were really good too.

What a cool place! This place has changed since the time The Coronado use to be right on 7th Street. The vibe and the food both.
The first time recently at the newer location (which has been there since 2021 I believe) I had the Coronado Burrito! Excellent and has soft potatoes in the burrito! Very unique and tasty!
The second time I had the Black Seed burger- also very good. The fries however were oversalted and dried out.
(If you get the burger, dont choose fries as the side. )
Dessert: Orange Choc Cake!

The food was great with friendly service and a relaxed vibe. We shared the Cauli-Bites, Mini Grand Slam with pancakes and black beans which was plenty and perfect for satisfying sweet and savory cravings.

First time eating here but I’ll definitely try it again! I got the loaded hibiscus chips as part of hibiscus week. What a uniquely amazing creation! I definitely give my props to the team who thought of this. The bbq hibiscus flowers were a smidge sweet for my taste but I just asked for a side of salsa which helped balance things out. The table next to me got a burger that smelled amazing so I’ll definitely get that next time.
I also got the lemon raspberry cake which I wasn’t the biggest fan of. The buttercream was gritty and the cake didn’t have a strong lemon flavor. But the raspberry sauce that was drizzled on top was really good! I could see it being amazing on a chocolate dessert.
The service was great and I felt well taken care of. The lighting inside is very intimate, seems like a great place for a date night. Can’t wait to come again!

My husband and I went to The Coronado for his birthday dinner because he's a vegetarian and I'm a vegan. It's ridiculously difficult to find a good plant based restaurant in Phoenix with good food and an atmosphere that's not similar to Chipotle. However, The Coronado is a beautiful restaurant with a great, night time vibe.
I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of four. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the service was good....but not absolutely great. Our drink order was pretty slow arriving, but the server did apologize. They did keep checking to see if we needed anything. It's difficult to put my finger on it, but I'm comparing it to another restaurant closer to home where we go. The servers there treat you as if you're special, with smiles, patience, acting as if they have time for you even if they're crazy busy.
We went with another couple who aren't vegetarians or vegans and they loved everything about this restaurant. They loved the food!
All in all, if you're a vegetarian or vegan looking for a restaurant with great food and a night time atmosphere with character and style, I highly recommend The Coronado.

We are whiskey fans and the Oak Street absolutely hit the spot. We continued with the Asada fries as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Southwest Salad, Flautas, and the Cauliflower tacos. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Aiden and Jane are awesome servers, they are the best!
If you seek a nice, relaxed atmosphere with great food, drinks, and staff, I encourage you: go to The Coronado! You will not be disappointed.

We hosted our book club meeting at Coronado last minute and the manager and staff were so gracious. Even though I let them know I wasn’t sure if my group would order food, they said that it was fine and brought out ice water and glasses for all the guests. When I thanked the manager, she said that she was happy to help out the community! It was so kind! I had the Evergreen cocktail, which was amazing, and the cauliflower wings which were better than chicken wings, if you can believe it. And our members did end up ordering drinks and food. Thank you, Coronado restaurant and staff for making this one of our best meetings to date! We will be back 🫶

The reviews here were great! I was super excited to give this place a go after here so many great things. My food looked absolutely nothing like the photos I found online, which I then realized were all from the restaurant rather than clients (weird). Food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Pretty standard place. 3/5 for me.

I’m so glad I finally got to try this place! The drinks are delicious, and the food is so, so good. We got the elote and fried guacamole to start; I love elote so much and will always order it when there’s a vegan version available. It was great! I wish we got more, honestly.
We also got the cauliflower tacos and potato tacos. Between the two, the cauliflower tacos had the better fillings, but the potato tacos had the better crunch/texture. Both were delicious!
The cocktails were perfectly mixed and were not too sweet or too strong.
I’m so glad I finally got to try this place and I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town.
