We had a large group dinner at The Farish House. It started with appetizers while we networked near the bar, followed by a buffet dinner. Service was top notch! The appetizers were great, dinner was fine, and I did not stay for dessert. Very eclectic furniture and decorations. It's a bit out of the way from the convention center, but the service was worth it.

The staff was so awesome. I had brought my girl to the Farish House that night to ask her to be my girlfriend, but wanted to ask her in a unique creative way. I caught the gentleman that was serving us in the hall, explained my situation and asked if there was something he could do? He was like..."No problem we got you covered." I went back to my seat and joined my girl and he gave me the ok that things were being taken care of. After a few minutes they came out with a big plate and a dessert on the end of it. Written in the middle of the plate with really nice hand writing in chocolate syrup was "Will you be my girlfriend?" It was so awesome and she was so surprised. Of course she said, "Yes!" She stood up and came around the table and gave me a big kiss. The staff was so awesome...not only did they bring the dessert with the writing in syrup, they also brought out two glasses of champagne. They were so awesome. The staff went above and beyond that night. Memories are so important and it's always good to have a time and a place to remember them. My girl will now always be able to say, "That's where he asked me to be his girlfriend." The Farish House.

My husband and I absolutely adore this restaurant! The service and food are the best in Phoenix. The atmosphere is charming. There is a fabulous five-person bar where you can grab a cocktail, and the cocktails are high-end and delightful. Jazz on the porch makes this restaurant a go-to date night. This is the gem of downtown Phoenix! Oh, and if you love filet mignon, this is one of the best you’ll find downtown. Delish!
