Just came here to grab a drink and for my friend to order some takeout wings. I really enjoyed my drink and the vibes of the place and my friend swears the wings are amazing. I’m not a wing person so I guess I’ll never know! ;) However this is a fun spot and I would definitely return for another drink and to grab some pizza!

The service has been disappointing. On one occasion, I ordered 1 slice of pizza and it took them an hour to give it to me. They gave the wrong slice and said the “kitchen was closed”. On another occasion, I made multiple attempts to get the bartender’s attention. They saw me and purposely ignored me multiple times. They have terrible service that’s borderline discriminatory.

I will caveat this by saying we did come in with limited time, that being said based on this experience I cannot recommend this place. First it took like 5 to 10 minutes to get the beers we ordered after sitting down, it wasn't really busy there were several empty seats at the bar and a few empty tables. Next the waitperson never wrote down our orders and we did have special requests nothing crazy just one burger with bacon added and the full order of wings split with 2 diffrent flavors. The food took about 20 minutes to come out and thats ok i guess but really 3 burgers and an order of wings shouldnt take that long when not that busy. Burger was missing the bacon and they gave me the wrong flavor wings (I asked for buffalo and got firecracker which were way hotter than i wanted to eat at the time). There was really no time to send it back since it took so long to get it initially. Honestly breaded wings suck anyways. I am not sure if our waitperson dropped the ball or if the kitchen messed it up. Either way not a good experience.

I’ve always had a great time coming here and the pizza is always fantastic. The location is great and is super easy to walk to from any part of Downtown. I appreciate their happy hour and I usually like to go before 7 as this place does get popping towards nighttime. I do appreciate that they recognize the locals who live down here!

Nicholas was such a coolio bartender for my cousin and I. He knew his alcohol which I appreciate from any bartender. Yeah Valley Bar is coolio but if uou want an honest good time without all the hype, visit this bar. Great service.
