I've lived in the neighborhood since 1993 but oddly never really ate here until today. We ate outside under the misters (Oct 2024 still hot out) and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was good, kinda salty but that's pretty much my own problem as I'm on a lower sodium diet so even Gatorade tastes too salty for me lol. I had shrimp tacos. My GF said her food was great, she has the tuna sandwich . I love that they offered cans of basic cheap beer (my favorite )...
In a city where almost ALL of the better dining options are dark by 9pm, The Main Ingredient was open until 11pm(!) on this Monday night. PERFECT, as we were looking for a nice, relaxing, later evening dining experience. YAY!
