We saw online that they have 1/2 price burgers on Wednesday and wanted to try them out. The burgers were good! Nice atmosphere. Good meal!

The food was lacking flavor. The server seemed unaware of the fresh ingredients they boast about online. Overall, it was a below-average experience, and I paid way too much for plain enchiladas. Definitely not worth the visit.

The other night I was finally able to try The Market by Jennifer’s after hearing about it so many times. The restaurant is tucked away in an alley in Arcadia but has such a great vibe when you walk in. The kitchen is huge and open to the restaurant and there are so many great drink options.
The Chicken Satay was perfectly fried chicken with a delicious blue cheese dipping sauce. The Gnocchi dish was one of the more creative dishes I have had. The tomato-vodka sauce was thick and creamy but wasn’t overpowering so the taste of mushrooms and spinach still came through along with the slow-roasted pork. I need to go back and try more dishes here!

The social media algorithms were on point. Surprisingly. Came here due to an IG ad while staying in the area. It was so close I walked. I came when they first opened and service was fit for a queen. Kaila was wonderful and would ask for her again. The food was devine! I was quite hungry so I ordered the Market Breakfast and the Green Pozole. Yes just for myself. As I mentioned, I was hungry. And while the breakfast was delicious. That pozole was one of the best I’ve ever had. My SIL’s mom is from Mexico and makes one that I dream about. Yes, that good. So I consider myself a decent gauge, in my humble opinion. Whether I come back for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I’ll be ordering that pozole on my next visit. I loved the boutique environment and the attention to detail. Presentation of the meal was also very nice. I look forward to eating here again.

I've been wanting to come here for quite some time. The vibe is great and I love the space. It took quite a while to be approached with the opportunity to get a drink which seemed odd as it wasn't busy and our server passed us up several times, maybe she just had a lot on her mind but it was noticeable that we had been sitting for a while with nothing on the table. I was here for restaurant week with a friend and we were a little disappointed with the portions. It felt like you got a bit less for what you were actually paying for. The presentation was nice and the flavor and taste of the food was great. But I will say that I would probably not come back here for restaurant week, specifically, I definitely left still very much hungry even after having their "3-course meal". I am curious as to how their normal menu is. So I am willing to come back and see if we can get that fifth star added based on a normal evening.

Meh! Restaurant Week. For $70 including g tip; no drink, I expected larger portions. Potato cHips and champagne? (It doesn’t count as a drink it it was a sip literally. Also there were three of us and we got one serving of chips.) the Bone Marrow BUTTER was more like lemon butter - no marrow taste. Got the cod as a main entree. It was smaller than a regular sized post it not. No joke. It was about 2.5x2.5. Very good but so disappointing that I spent that amount and I left not satiated.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend giving it a try! My only suggestion would be for better training of the serving staff. Our interactions were awkward and the servers were unaware of the different promotions/special menus that were being offered at the time. If the service was improved, this place would be packed nightly.

Every dish we had was amazing. We even ordered a burger since it was half off burgers on Wednesday. Every meal was amazing. Steak and fries, the steak melted in your mouth. Burger the same. The mashed potatoes were also perfection. No reason why you shouldn’t give Jennifer and her lovely market a try.

This was an unexpected treat. We had a special menu for the evening, and let me tell you, eat bite was better than the last, and each wine pairing went beautifully with each plate. I can't wait to go back and try more!

I went to the Market around 1:45 and it was completely empty. It was very nice, clean, and inviting. My waitress came over and explained the specials along with the wine list. I opted only for water because I knew I had more stops to make and the heat was already scorching. I ended up getting the Market burger with the Yukon potato chips. I was disappointed that there wasn't an option to switch out the side. They stated that I would have to purchase the side because they don't have a way to upcharge for a replacement. My food came out in a timely manner but it literally had no flavor. I tried to give it a chance but my tastebuds were hollering.
The waitress never came back to check on me up. There were 3 separate couples that came behind me and they were given more options. Considering that I was solo, I did think it was a little strange. She finally got my check and takeout box to go. I rated them overall a 4 because for $20 I should have gotten some flavor

We went for Restaurant Week. We were seated next to a group of 4 who were very loud. We were greeted and handed menus. Our Server took our complete order. Our appetizers were very good. I had Shrimp and my partner had a cheese plate. Dave ordered Salmon (4 oz) that was good. I had Chicken Cacciatore with Orzo and Basel. The dishes were good. The chicken was great, the Orzo was cold. We both ordered the Chocolate Torte. The torte was good. For $44 a piece, I can’t say it wasn’t good, it was. For the price and what we got, not so much.

I'm sad to say good bye to Jen who I believe is a good woman with great ideas but after working beside some of her kitchen staff I had to part due to conflict of interest. In hindsight they are a tight knit family type group that I simply found herd to fit inJen is a beautiful person with a huge heart and love for culinary experience and enjoys serving her customers her creative outlook in cooking.Bon appetit
