Best ice cream in Arizona

Visited here for the first time. The ice cream tasted like it had gone through freezer burn, so that was disappointing. It was okay.

In all honesty I’m very impressed. For the first time ever I just visited The Screamery off of Tatum & Shea. You can literally taste how clean the ice cream is compared to a heart attack on a plate like getting ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery. This ice cream tastes like there’s a significant reduction in fat. I also like that they do portion control. They’re large cup is actually not jumbo in size. The Vanilla Bean was absolutely delicious can’t go wrong with that flavor. It’s safe to say my days of going to Cold Stone Creamery are officially over with since I found this diamond in the ruff. Both young ladies who waited on me tonight were extremely personable and full of smiles. It’s nice to know you’re at a place where the employees are happy as well.

Airy ice cream, not thick and creamy. Expensive. Very pleasant server. Mississippi mud was a dud.

They do what they do well. It's premium ice cream. I think the Sundae with the cookie is the way to go! Don't be shy about asking to taste.

We absolutely love The Screamery and visit all the time. The ice cream itself is easily 5 stars—always delicious, high quality, and one of the best in town. One of the big reasons we keep coming back is not just the amazing flavors but also the generous scoops they typically serve.

However, our recent visit on a Friday night was disappointing. The consistency in service just wasn’t there. The scoops we received were noticeably smaller than usual, which took away from the experience. It felt like we weren’t getting the same value we’ve always appreciated.

While we’ll definitely be back because of how much we love the ice cream, we hope the staff can be more consistent with their portions. The ice cream is still top-notch, but the service on this visit was a letdown—so I have to give it 2 stars for that.

Walked in to get my order. Was super excited, knowing that I was going to be trying something new.. I walk in, I’m not greeted at all, and then finally some Curly haired young woman walked up with no smile on her face. She gave off this energy like she was just pissed off being there. Which is so disappointing,young kids can act this way nowadays. I said hello how are you doing? And got no reply.. then I said yeah I’m just here to pick up my online order, I gave her my name and she just walked to the freezer pulled my order out, and then I’m like have a good rest of your night, no reply… Probably the rudest experience I’ve ever had interacting with someone at an ice cream shop. Ice cream shops are supposed to be happy. It doesn’t matter if you’re having a bad day or if your life‘s not going the way you want it, when you’re at work, you put all of that stuff to the side and treat your customers with respect.

I will say the ice cream is good, I really enjoyed the cookie dough so that at least gave me a good feeling that they at least produce high quality product. I just can’t get over the way that I was treated walking inside. As a business owner, I would never tolerate my employees acting like that.

Our family comes here regularly. I always get the sweet cream honeycomb. I have never had an issue with the quality, until recently, the last 3 times, there has been little to NO honey in my ice cream and NO chunks of actual honeycomb that I am so use to. It just taste like buttery ice cream with a hint of honey. It went from being loaded with honey and honeycomb to having next to non in my servings. Consistency in scoop size is lacking too. Sometimes it’ll just be over the rim of the medium cup, other times it’s well over. After coming regularly for the last year, I am not sure if I’ll be coming back.

Quality of the ice cream is excellent. First time here. Jaxon was such a gentleman - I came back another few times and he was always so uplifting. So sincere and so accommodating ???
Cookies and cream and Vanilla was my choice. Took home a pint after. It was refreshing. I like how they have an image of the ice cream making process. Rare to see that. Im from BC and can confirm the quality matches the description.
Really polite young man on site tonight who helped me. 10/10. Really pleasant neighborhood.

Googled ice cream for the kids. Cold stone, BR popped up along with the Screamery. Made the right choice. Ice cream is home made, fresh ingredients and much better than the franchise places all over. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best Ice Cream in the area.

Great ice cream, lots of options and friendly staff. The ice cream flight is perfect to share and try more than one flavor! I had the vanilla with sprinkles and was happy with my choice.
