I would love to give this place 5 stars but I had a terrible customer service experience over the phone. The lady was rude about a misunderstanding regarding when they serve food vs the hours of being open to purchase frozen tamales. Poor service, although the tamales are great!

Great food for the authentic experience, I belive beans are made fresh daily they did not have a can taste, great selection of daily tamales to choose from. Menu rotates your selection day to day. Chill atmosphere comfortable and service was great.

This is the second time this has happened to me at this restaurant. I ordered the Nacho Mams’s Nachos to go, requesting my nachos be ON THE SIDE so they don’t get soggy by the time I’m able to eat my meal. They put everything else on side in individual containers and ruined my nachos and cheese by adding the cheese on top and covering them. They are now all stuck together and soggy with most of the cheese stuck to the bottom of the tray. This was a completely wasted meal now because there is no way I can doctor up this mess. For future reference, when someone asks for something “on the side” it is THAT item that they want on the side… not everything else! This is absolute BS!

If there's a better place in the valley to have tamales I'd like to know where it is. Also a store inside the restaurant and a viewing area of the tamale assembly area , which is very interesting to watch. A SUPER CLEAN establishment.

I've purchased frozen tamales and they are delicious. This was the first time getting them fresh and warm. Took a large tray to the office and everyone loved them. Red chili Pork, cilantro corn and green chicken chili. I'd say everyone will be going to the Tamale store on their own soon. Great place, friendly staff. Thank you!

They are very large tamales! But as far as taste goes, it wasn’t the best tasting tamale I’ve ever had. My family and I have made better last Christmas. The meat (pork) does have an unusual sour note to it and although it’s not over powering. It is noticeable. I did not notice any unusual taste with the beef. I might return again in 5+ years and wonder why I stopped coming here
