I work down the street from this awesome neighborhood bar and grill. Went for lunch little over a month ago, and go back about once a week. Everything I have had from the kitchen is spot on. Allie and Hannah are amazing! One of my new favorite lunch spots!

I don't know where to begin, the Tav is my favorite spot in all of Phoenix when it comes seeking a place with a good vibe, incredible customer service, fast service, incredibly low prices for food and drinks. I would even venture to say that the Tav has some of the best, if not the best, buffalo wings in all of Phoenix and thats a bold statement. If you are looking for a bar with a good mix of people still hanging out until 2am on a Monday or Tuesday (weekends it's packed) this is the place. The local industry workers also come after their shifts during the week so there is always a solid 12:30-1am rush of people. Great spot with an underrated name. The TAV is the bee's knee's.Corey, Taylor, and Frankie are specifically amazing employees and they are incredibly good at what they do and making you feel at home. The Tav for the win!

I agree with previous posters. I came in for the first time with somewhat limited expectations. I've been to a bunch of Phoenix "dive bars" and really none of them have fit the bill. This place is too clean and has somewhat updated furniture to truly be considered an actual dive bar but they have phenomenal food, service, and cheap drinks. The sign on the wall near the dart board helps add to the appeal to the place but it does seem to lack some personality. I'm glad it's a stand alone business and not like the majority of the strip mall bars we have. It's a smaller place but it wasn't too busy while I was there.

A true dive bar with EXCELLENT food, drinks, and staff. A fun place for those who want to unwind. Hannah and Heather are wonderful but you really can’t go wrong with any of the staff. It has become my regular place to go for great food and great fun.

This place is a gem in the middle of a place with nothing else around it. Late night food, friendly bar tenders, pool table, bathroom. Came from out of town and walked here to have some incredibly good fish and carne asada tacos. Awesome vibe. They played The Flaming Lips so that was neat. Try the beer, it's wet!

The Tav is a neighborhood locals spot. The servers are friendly and personable. The Tav has trivia and karaoke, and their food is delicious.Vegetarian options: Kung Pao Cauliflower is veg but if you are vegetarian you can remove meat from a lot of the menu itemsWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that goes from the parking area to the door and there are no stairs inside.

The bartenders are super friendly. The food is really good and reasonably priced. They serve food until 11pm during the week and 12 on Fridays and Saturday. They have a good crowd people for karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. Great dive bar I've glad I stopped in.

first time at the tav. service was great! They were quite busy so the servers deserve a ton of credit. Prices and selections were also good.
