We came for the Walter Scott Wine Tasting and stayed for dinner. We shared the patty melt and the grapefruit and avocado salad. Excellent!

Great hamburgers. Best thing, though, is the bartenders--Shante in particular--who know regular customers.

Excellent food as usual, and the manager remembered a less than stellar evening we had several weeks ago and gave us some special treatment on this occasion. Great value for the quality of service and food.

We all had something different and it was all amazing. Great wine selections. Very reasonably priced. This place is a gem.

Tarbell's Tavern is my ‘go-to' spot for drinks or dinner. They have an amazing bartender and the vibe local and cool.

Tarbell's Tavern is the casual "cousin" to Tarbell's white tablecloth top-tier restaurant. Alas, the management of the Tavern has learned too much about pricing from its higher series relative. $21 for a hamburger? Sounds like a number from next door than from a more casual eatery. We might back.

Tarbells Tavern is again open for lunch! Barbacoa street tacos and green chile pork: both were packed with flavor and had generous portion sizes for lunch. A nicely aged 2010 Barolo provided a perfect wine pairing. Waiter Jimmy was polite, engaging, professional, and friendly.

TheTavern (Wine Bar) offers an exceptional experience! The wine selection was diverse and expertly curated, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The cozy atmosphere made it perfect for unwinding, and their small plates complemented the drinks perfectly. A great spot for a casual date night or gathering with friends!

Went for lunch on a Monday and were one of only a few customers in the place so service was attentive. Three in our party raved about the Salmon.

I am absolutely delighted with my recent visit to Tarbell's Tavern! The experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by their attentive staff, who ensured every detail of my lunch was flawless. My Caesar salad was crisp, perfectly dressed, and delightfully refreshing—a true testament to their culinary standards. Paired with a well-crafted Arnold Palmer, it was the ideal midday treat.

The ambiance of the restaurant exudes a quiet charm and relaxed elegance. It’s a refreshing escape, and I couldn’t help but appreciate the thoughtfully designed space that invites you to sit back and savor every moment. With their recent launch of lunch service, I highly recommend stopping by to experience the outstanding quality and comfort firsthand. Love this ❤️

Finally came here for dinner after living near by for 20 years. Definitely that nostalgia of pre-fast casual - tavern fare. Has the vibe for the older crowd. The service was good, average. Food is so so. For $12 Street Frite brand fries, quality control would check to make sure you didn’t get the bottom of the bag. The coconut cream pie was the best thing. Come here for some wine and dessert.

Enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting next door with PerUs wines & then slipped into the Tavern for some dinner. First & foremost, the staff is amazing! Had some great cocktails, thank you Shantae, you were great! Enjoyed a burger & lobster roll, wonderful comfort food, but absolutely delicious! Chef Ryan, thanks for taking care of our meal & popping out to see if everything was to our liking! See your Dbacks at the playoffs with my Phillies... just a wonderful plays, thank you!

Love the food. Love the coziness. Love the wine and liquor market. You can select from a huge variety of wines and have it at your table at retail prices instead of restaurant mark up prices. All the food is delish! One of the best lobster rolls in Phoenix. The seasonal entrees are always creative, amazing and usually locally sourced. If you think a chicken entree is priced a little strong, don't think, just devour it. It won't disappoint. Best burger in the area. Love the avocado toast especially with the barbacoa added. Finally, the kale salad is excellent and finish it all off with an espresso martini.

Parking: On slower weeknights parking is easy and busier nights they have friendly, fast valet.

Local hang out with great food at an approachable price point. You can buy wine next door and drink it at the bar. They also have lots of great craft beer options like Wren House! We’ve eaten pretty much everything on the menu and it’s all great
