WE HAD AN OUTDOOR TABLE BY THE MUSIC.....IT WAS TOO LOUD FOR VISITING ACROSS THE TABLE. WE ENJOY MUSICIANS, BUT DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE TO PLAY SO LOUD.
When we got the food it was cold and fries were chewy. Our appetizer plate was finished and so the table was cramped with plates.
I loved the location and ambience but staff was pleasant but absentee more often than not. We had to continuously look for staff for any type of assistance. The food was extremely underwhelming. My salmon was extremely overcooked my cousins gat pasta and it was bland.
Such a great spot...good music and vibes...super friendly staff and the food was excellent...would highly recommend

We loved it, just flew into phoenix and stopped while driving tonal destination and will definitely go again
We made reservation via Open Table. We had an AZ Speakers Series event at 7, at AZ FinancialTheater, so we arrived at The Vig at 4:45. Awesome table on the patio. Server Steph was attentive & friendly! Really great vibe & food was delicious! Special Harvest Salad & salmon, with edamame starter. Draft beer & patio heater to take the chill away as the sun went down. We Will definitely be back!!

Great service! Fun place. Easy parking. Terrific food. The 4 of us were very happy dining there.
I understand why this place had such good reviews! The food was fantastic, great atmosphere, our bellies are full. The service was outstanding as well.

The food is delicious, flavored and pretty. We had the shrimp tacos, the calamari and cheese burger with fries. The Strawberry Fields is too sweet. Bottled beer was nicely chilled.

Great seasonal menu that rotates, waygu burger was lovely, calamari and shrimp appetizer was spicy and delicious, kids loved the truffle fries and slider burgers. Service was great until our server closed out for the night and our coverage forgot about us. The patio was lovely and quiet.

We have been to the Vig several times before shows and had a great experience. This most recent visit was unfortunately not up to the standard we have come to expect. I made outdoor reservations on a Tuesday evening before a show. We were seated inside and when I asked for the outdoor seating I put on my reservation, the hostess quickly said I had selected standard seating (I looked at my reservation confirmation to double-check myself and it was for outdoor). No outdoor seating was available so we would need to wait 10-15 minutes. We decided to stick with indoors since we wanted to get to our show with ample time. We were given water for the table and waited for 20 minutes to get additional drinks and food order. It looked like the staff was very busy, so we gave a bit of grace, but eventually went to ask the hostess if a server was available to take our order. We then waited another 35 minutes for our food. In that time, the server did not come back to check on us or give us a heads up that they were short-staffed, kitchen was backed up, etc. We had to again check with the hostess on when our food would be ready because we were coming up on the time to leave for our show. We had a short time to eat, but once the food arrived, it was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals. While the food was great, I will likely choose another option in the future.

The food and drinks were good. The service was poor. The only other time I ate here, the service was poor. They need to get this figured out.
