Good, authentic Thai restaurant. Reasonably priced. Even have a nice patio when the weather is good.
Great service , best Thai in the area!!!
Take out order and we weren't impressed with the food, especially not for the price. I don't know if it was an off day or what. But we won't be going back.
Been coming here since 2006 after I walked in as a personal banker for Compass Bank on 1st ave Van Buren and I open Dave’s Business account and this place doesn’t stop surprising me…
Sadly, my chicken egg rolls greasy, I ordered yellow curry. Not sure what I got. Rice under cooked. Crunchy. Not impressed at all. It use to be fantastic years ago. I guess COVID ruined it. I won't be back
My friend and I attempted to dine there last night, 6-6-25, around 8 pm. They were busy. We were the first person in line, and several more people came in behind us, so the front entrance was packed. We waited for approximately 7 minutes with no staff acknowledging us. I suggested we sit at the bar since it was empty. We walked to the bar and sat while there was an employee standing behind the bar to the left of us. She never acknowledged us. She just kept doing whatever she was doing. We noticed that when we walked to the bar, an employee immediately went to the front and seated the remaining guests (it was blatantly obvious). After sitting at the bar for an additional 5 minutes with no acknowledgment, we left. I will not spend my money where I am obviously treated differently. Yes, my friend and I are POC, and everyone else in line behind us was not. Was it a coincidence - perhaps, but still, it was unacceptable! I have dined at this establishment for years since they opened! I have even ordered a whole cake. After last night's experience- NEVER AGAIN.
The Wild Thaiger is a great spot to get lunch or dinner if you're in the Midtown area. The Mi Dang was very flavorful and would recommend it to others.
Beyond expectations, food was delicious and good portion size, my family tried the dragona and fell in love with them. Tai tea was sweet and books. Would recommend.
Best Tom Kha soup in town
Was here for a work lunch with about a dozen people and had the chicken pad thai medium heat. The entree was excellent and our server had great timing.

We saw Wild Thaiger on various TV shows and drove 40 minutes to try it for lunch. We're going to Thailand in March and so it seemed like a great warmup. The service was so excellent - friendly, efficient and was a team effort. No one walked by our table without removing dirty dishes or asking if we needed anything. We started with the Dragon Eggz and were thrilled to find that we could have crispy, steamed or combo. We chose combo and...yum!
We had two noodle dishes, Mi Dang and Fat One. Both were piping hot and delicious. The Mi Dang was absolutely chock full of pork. The Fat One had just enough heat.
We never get dessert but had heard so much about the desserts here that we took a piece of banana cake home. OMG! I forgot to take pics of our food but here's the cake.
Now we have to go back and try dinner.
