We were so disappointed to celebrate our new year eve in this so called upscale experience. Food was terrible cold , hamachi was totally burnt and cold . Pizza was cooked like u got it from supermarket and cold . Lobster pasta was just warm when serving. If I could give them zero star , I would .

AMAZING! Breakfast was the best buffet I have ever experienced! So many options, fresh and healthy! We had three days of this buffet and loved it! Service was personable, kind and just the right amount of attentive!

45 dollar for valet parking even with validation at the JW Mariott during holiday season and non-valet parking is a long hike... insane. Pick a different restaurant while JW's Holiday event ishappening. Not worth the outrageous cover charge.

We stayed at the resort and as a result of being Bonvoy members, we got a breakfast included each day. It was the Mercado breakfast, which is similar to a continental breakfast, but with many more options. Both days we were there, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

On one day, we both got the base breakfast and the other day one of us got the upgraded breakfast that included things that you would normally see on a buffet like bacon, omelettes and sausage. The restaurant opens at 6:30 and on one day we went there just after opening and found that some of the items had yet to be put out. The staff apologized, and when the food came out, we both got free upgrades.

We recommend the breakfast, but would advise going there a bit later than when it opens.

Beautiful restaurant and patio. Limited menu at lunch time. Tostadas were very small for the price and came with no sides. Cocktails $25-30. Server was nice but very slow. Felt overpriced.

First time visiting Tia Carmen for their Thanksgiving brunch, and it genuinely felt like the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend. We pre booked in after online research about their seasonal menu, and it didn't disappoint. The Thanksgiving spread was spot-on — the carved turkey was unbelievably tender, the stuffing had that perfect ‘homemade but elevated' vibe, and the desserts were dangerously addictive. Even the small touches stood out, like bloody Mary's on arrival and staff who managed to stay cheerful and attentive despite the holiday rush. If I had one tiny suggestion, it'd be to food to in courses in menu order format — music could have been a bit louder — but that's more a sign of how popular the place is. Overall, a fantastic first visit and a brilliant Thanksgiving brunch experience. I'll definitely be back next year.”

The entire staff was simply amazing from the moment we showed up. Our Server Mel was very attentive and helpful. We will be making this our new Thanksgiving meal going forward.

The New York strip steak with the marrow infused butter was the best steak I have ever had! So delicious. Loved the dessert of flan with mancheego cheese which gave it a salty contrast. The flan itself was perfection in its consistency. Also loved the purple yam side which might have been the bite of the night!

The food was good and nice presentation and the service was good. We enjoyed the meal very much BUT when we picked up the car from valet, we were charged $45 for valet parking even after the validation from the restaurant. Is that cost for valet parking at JW Marriott with validation? That is outrageous!

Excellent Southwestern cuisine! Their dinner menu is much more extensive and interesting than their lunch menu. Lots of entrees and appetisers that i would love to come back for to try again.

Not many breakfast options at this JW Marriott location. I was disappointed to not have any menu options for breakfast, only the buffet. There was a $30 and a $42 dollar buffet. It was not clear how this was decided. All 3 of us ate from the same limited section, but were charged for 2 $30 buffets and a $42 one. Expensive and definitely not worth the price.

Had a reservation, was seated, but then it took them 15 minutes to bring us water. We ordered our food and then waited an hour and 15 minutes later to be told that it was backed up and would be longer. We had to cancel our order due to timing and needing to head to a meeting. Service was painfully bad. Was unable to try the food so I can't comment on the quality. The restaurant looked nice. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

We recently had brunch at Tia Carmen in the JW Marriott. For breakfast and lunch. Tia Carmen only offers a buffet – there does not seem to have an a la carte menu at all. Your choice is either a continental breakfast or a full buffet. The full buffet was actually good value for the price.

There is a make your own omelet station as well as a variety of hot foods including a beef birria which was quite tasty
There was also a lot of fresh fruit, different kinds of breads, salads and cheeses.

It is reminiscent of visiting a buffet at a resort in Mexico which seems to be what they are going for. The service was great although it is a buffet and so they did not have a lot to do

The real only challenge that we faced, which is an issue I've had before as a guest in the hotel is that the hosting backs up pretty easily and so it takes a long time to check in.
