For 20 years I frequent all of Tokyo expresses locations but now they only have this one left but every time I get a chance to go there, I do. The staff are friendly, and the food is always consistent and yummy. I hope they stand business for at least the next 20 years.

This is my all time favorite place to eat. The food has tasted the exact same since I was a little girl. Best salad ever! Best sukiyaki ever! I used to have my birthday dinner here every year when I was a kid when we would come back in town for Christmas. Tokyo express is what I miss the most about AZ (other than my family… most days)

1120am on monday ordered the chicken bowl salad drink combo. salad was good then took my bowl to go. first bite, charred chicken even thecteriyaki sauce could not overcome. decided to try 1 more bite before giviving up on it and same issue dry chicken with charged ends . very disappointed in a long time favorite. Will avoid in the future and take it off my consistent and quick list.

My all time, last meal on earth, favorite restaurant! I grew up in Phoenix in the late ‘80’s/early ‘90’s and there were Tokyo Express restaurants all over the place. (I recall one on Indian School and one on Thomas) I returned to Phoenix after moving away 30 plus years ago and had to find out if Tokyo Express was still around. After scouring the internet and making some phone calls, I found this location on Camelback. The food is EXACTLY as delicious as I remembered, at very reasonable prices, prepared fresh and served by a very friendly staff. The entire restaurant brings back so many great childhood memories. I come here as often as possible. I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki bowl, California roll and side salad. Perfection! THANK YOU!
