Absolute garbage service. Instead of getting a refund, they decided to send me 5 bags of chips instead of the two $13 smoothies I ordered. I only ordered from here for the smoothies, it’s not like the food is even good. Next time, so everyone a favor and cancel the order.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – 3035 W. Peoria Ave, Peoria, AZ

Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and hygiene at this location.

The area above the monitor near the entrance was filthy—covered in dust and lint. A young woman was preparing a bowl behind the counter with no hairnet and was using the cash register without changing gloves. Flies were all over the food prep area, and uncovered items were left out in the open. When I brought it up, the response was simply, “We’re trying to get rid of them.”

I also saw two other employees—one young man was wearing a hoodie pulled over his head with no apron or hair covering. The fruit storage area was wide open, and utensils were being handled with bare hands.

There are serious health code violations happening here. I strongly urge Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s management to step in immediately and address these issues.

I won’t be returning, and I do not recommend this location.

I swear this is the worst location in the valley. I came here once to get an açaí bowl and specifically told them how I wanted it made and they messed up. I came back last night about 10 minutes to closing because the location closest to me closed down, again to get an acai bowl which is already premade. I guess they decide when they will or won’t make something because after rushing over there they said they were only making smoothies for the rest of the night.. I’m not wasting my time here anymore. I’ve been to SEVERAL tropical smoothie cafes but this one is the most incompetent out of all of them.

Always a good visit

Was pretty bummed out to find out that this location doesn't give you the extra in the blender, when you add mix-ins and whey protein, most other smoothie places including the one up the street on Thunderbird and 43rd definitely give you the extra that you paid for. Was also told to tip at the register. Call me old school but I prefer for me to make that decision. Not for you to tell me. I will definitely be going to other location.

Better smoothies than Jamba Juice. Excellent sandwiches and wraps.
