Walked in at 840. Open sign is still on, business is open and one of the girls sitting at the table on her phone while the other poor girl is working her butt off cleaning. She says "we are closed bye" me and the other girl looked at her confused and the sweet girl said she had already turned off the ovens but that if it was just a smoothie or a bowl it was no problem which was perfect because I specifically came in for an açaí bowl. The rude one says "ughh entitled bitch" " it's always the white ones that get what they want". She then started cussing and being disrespectful to me while the other girl just went and made the bowl which took a whopping 2 seconds. The other girl was obviously annoyed by her behavior. She needs a reality check.

Ok, I hate to be this guy, Left the gym to grab a drink and flatbread sandwich. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a girl, didn't catch her name but she was a thin blond girl. great atmosphere.........until.....a little kid was running around the back of the store.....i get it kids are loud but WOW! so many questions go through my head like i know workers are trained to wash their hands.... what's this child touching, whatever maybe its theowners daughter (she would have a better understanding not to touch anything) and they stopped in.........but according to the cashier that's her coworkers child that comes to work with her.... When you finish a 2 hour workout session the last thing you want to hear is a child shaking an ice cup, and making whoo/whee noises while running around the kitchen while for what seemed like an eternity and no one stopping it and this poor cashier losing her mind not being able to do anything about it.....children do not belong in the work place, and I get it Stuff happens in life and we have no choice, i have 4 grown children and a 11 year old. but when mom is back on her phone and child is running around with no supervision...it becomes a problem, like give the kid a coloring book and have her sit in the lobby if you need. I just don't think health department is cool with this.......and its sad that i love this place but want to go somewhere else if a kid in running around like its a daycare center. Not the way to run a business tropical smoothy cafe. Do Better!

Went to tropical smoothie for the first time today and it was literally so good. I did only notice one worker but she was doing such a great job and was super efficient and kind. Just made me wonder why there was no one there helping her as it was a little busy. Just felt bad for her as she was alone in the front. Maybe management should help out their employees more lol.

The place Seems clean, fast service but one thing that stuck out was the great employee who helped with my order, I believe her name was aubryana she didn't have a name tag on so sorry if I didn't catch your name correctly. I was very hesitant to check this place out cuz of its Yelp rating but am so glad I did. I stopped in on a Tuesday around 10:15am. The girl working was very friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable (I came here because the girl at One Stop Nutrition up the road had no idea the ingredients and didn't seem interested in helping me figure it out). She answered all my questions and gave me recommendations. I opted for the Detox Island Green. It's lower in calories and had fresh ginger in it. Alwyas a win in my book. I alwyas ad protein to my smoothies otherwise I crash so k was glad to see they had Pea Protein vs a Soy based protein. I also added the B12 cuz who doesn't need it these days. I also saw that they had edible straws and i picked up 3 for my kids for an after school treat. The ambience was just fine. It was clean, bright and not cluttered. I will be back.
