We ate here about 6 years ago. The nice thing, the food and service were the same. Excellent. Portion size is large, and food is well seasoned and presented.Will return next time in Phoenix
Two servers had trouble keeping up with five tables; a request for bread was forgotten, a glass of wine was full of debris, the food was quite salty and the room was extra cold. The staff was very friendly and kind. The menu selection was good and the calamari was the best I have had in Phoenix.
While craving some good authentic Italian, it was good...but not something I would crave or even go back soon for. Had Ceasar Salads to start, and found them bland (lettuce, maybe a couple croutons and no shaved parm...just grated)...but dressing was lacking in flavor. Eggplant Parmesan was the traditional kind and good (but I love when there are layers of cheese and sauce baked in between...not just on top. Flavor was good there and on the spaghetti that came with it...but not...
