Apparently you can give 10 years of your life to the military and if you're not active duty you're not allowed into the USO. Maybe I should have known this but believe this should change to allow all current and prior military personnel.

If you were injured overseas and 100% disabled after serving 16 years, you are not welcome to this USO! I've never, since 2004, have been DENIED entry to any USO. UNBELIEVABLE!

We had a horrible day of flying, more like not flying. And this was literally the only bright spot. It was nice to get away from some of the chaos and be able to unwind a little and the staff/volunteers were so kind and welcoming.

Sad that USO believes that a 100% permanent Veteran we loose our access but a retired military get to keep there's . Even thou we fought in war an was badly hurt . I won't be supporting USO an will let others know . But Chicago an New York allows us in. Phoenix is backwards.
